Colliery of M/s. Eastern Coalfields Limited.

Please refer to your Online application, ID No. 258933, dated 04.09.2023 and offline application No. Agent/NKD-KB/23-24/995, dated
02.09.2023 and the plans, sections and draft Strata Control and Management Plan enclosed therewith.
The matter has since been examined on the basis of information furnished and shown on the plans and sections submitted by you.
In exercise of the powers conferred on Chief Inspector of Mines (also designated as Director-General of Mines Safety) under
Regulation 111(2) of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017 and by virtue of the authorization granted to me by the Chief Inspector of
Mines (also designated as Director- General of Mines Safety) under section 6(1) of the Mines Act, 1952, I hereby permit you to develop
CM Panels –TB3 and PB2 in R-VIIB Seam by deploying Low Height Continuous Miner with Shuttle Car combination at Nakrakonda-
Kumardihi ‘B’ Colliery of M/s. Eastern Coalfields Limited as indicated on Plan No. NKD-KB/PERM/R-VIIB/2023-24/15, dated
01.09.2023 submitted by you, subject to the strict compliance of the following conditions and the conditions stipulated in enclosed
Annexure-I of this letter:
1.0 By virtue of the powers conferred on me, I, under Regulation 123 of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017 hereby approve the Strata
Control and Monitoring Plan submitted by the manager. Copy of the approved Strata Control and Monitoring Plan is enclosed as
ANNEXURE-I, which shall be duly signed by Manager and one copy shall be returned to this Directorate for records. The Manager
shall, before commencement of extraction, handover copies of the Support Plan together with illustrative sketches to all supervisory
officials concerned including Assistant Managers. He shall also make available such copies together with illustrative sketches, on
boards at all conspicuous places in the mine/panel during its extraction till the panel is sealed off.
1.1 Code of Standing Orders for supporting of roof and sides, right from planning, procurement, supply, handling, assembling,
dismantling, transportation till withdrawal of the supports shall be prepared and implemented in the panels as required under

Regulations 123 and 125 of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017.
1.2 Recommendations of the Scientific Study report vide project no. IIT(BHU)/AKV/JMS/ECL Kumardihi-B/2023/05, dated
18.02.2023 on “Geotechnical Assessment for Development of Trunk Roads TB1, TB2 and TB3 and panels TB1, TB2, TB3, TB4 and
TB5 in R-VIIB Seam using Low Height Continuous Miner at Kumardihi B Mine, Bankola Area, ECL”, February, 2023 carried out by
DEPARTMENT OF MINING ENGINEERING, INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY),
VARANASI-221005, UP shall be judiciously followed and implemented for safer method of mining with necessary technical guidance
and monitoring from Scientific Agency/Institute of National repute.
1.3 No person shall be allowed/deployed beneath unsupported exposed roof.
1.4 Appropriate tools and adequate no. of trained workmen shall be provided in the panel to ensure proper testing and dressing of roof
and sides of the galleries/roadways in the Panel.
2.0 Before commencement of development:
2.1 All electrical parts/component of the Continuous Miner, Shuttle Car, Feeder Breaker, Roof Bolter and other equipment shall be
either flameproof or intrinsically safe. Before commencement of mining operation by continuous mining method, approval of
machineries/equipment (Mechanical, Electrical & Environment monitoring) including cables, connectors and joint boxes shall be
obtained from this Directorate.
2.2 The workings if any, lying above and/or within 60 m of the proposed Panels-TB3 and PB2 in R-VIIB Seam shall be made and
kept free from accumulation of water or other liquid matter, if any, and it shall be ensured that these working shall also be kept free
from accumulation of water or other liquid matter during entire period of development of the proposed panels in R-VIIB Seam.
2.3 All boreholes drilled from surface to the workings of the panel shall be marked on the surface and underground plans from all
available data and shall be kept plugged fully with cement grout to prevent inadvertent entry of water as well as fall of persons into
them.
2.4 All useful information including the position, extent and depth of workings of overlying seams, adjacent workings shall be
acquired and kept recorded and a scheme of working design to prevent eruption of water shall be prepared and put into operation.

3.0 The manner of development:


3.1 The roadways/galleries shall be developed along the roof not exceeding 6.0 m in width and height of 2.4 m or full seam thickness
whichever is less. The size of the pillar form centre to centre shall not be less than 26 m X 26 m for both the proposed Panels-TB3 and
PB2 as shown in the enclosed Plan No. NKD-KB/PERM/R-VIIB/2023-24/15, dated 01.09.2023.
3.2 Development shall be done mechanically with the help of Continuous Miner and shuttle Car combination. Only remote/umbilical
chord controlled Continuous Miner shall be used so as to ensure that at all times persons deployed under supported roof only. At any
time for any reason whatsoever, if the remote/umbilical chord control system of the continuous miner fails to work, the continuous
miner shall not be deployed for extraction of pillars till the same is rectified fully.
3.3 There should be continuous monitoring system on the vehicle for methane and such system shall give warning if the percentage of
methane exceeds 0.50% and shall shut off the engine the moment the percentage of methane is 0.75%.
3.4 Development shall be commenced systematically and the Sequences to be followed during development of galleries of Panels-
TB3 and PB2 are as follows:-
3.4.1 Continuous Miner shall be placed in the left side of the Pillar No.1 for cutting with height of 2.4 m or full seam thickness
whichever is less and a cut-out distance (COD) not exceeding 14 m.
3.4.2 After 1st cut, Continuous Miner will moved to right side of the Pillar No.1 for 2nd cut of cutting with COD of 14 m. While
making 2nd cut, gallery of 1st cut will be supported by Twin Bolter as per SCAMP.
3.4.3 After making 2nd cut, Continuous Miner will move to the left side of the Pillar No.1 for 3rd cut and in the mean time 2nd cut
will be supported by Twin Bolter as per SCAMP.
3.4.4 After cutting 3rd cut, Continuous Miner will move to the right side of the Pillar No.1 for 4th cut and in the mean time 3rd cut
will be supported by Twin Bolter as per SCAMP.
3.4.5 After making 4th cut, Continuous Miner will move to the right side of the Pillar No.2 for 5th cut and in the mean time 4th cut
will be supported by Twin Bolter as per SCAMP.
3.4.6 After cutting 5th cut, Continuous Miner will move to the left side of the Pillar No.3 for 6th cut and in the mean time 5th cut will
be supported by Twin Bolter as per SCAMP.
3.4.7 After making 6th cut, Continuous Miner will move to the right side of the Pillar No.2 for 7th cut and in the mean time 6th cut
will be supported by Twin Bolter as per SCAMP.
3.4.8 After making 7th cut, Continuous Miner will move to the inbye side of the Pillar No.1 for 8th cut and in the mean time 7th cut
will be supported by Twin Bolter as per SCAMP.
3.4.9 After cutting 8th cut, Continuous Miner will move to the right side of the Pillar No.3 for 9th cut and in the mean time 8th cut
will be supported by Twin Bolter as per SCAMP.

3.4.10 After making 9th cut, Continuous Miner will move to the right side of the Pillar No.4 for 10th cut and in the mean time 9th cut
will be supported by Twin Bolter as per SCAMP.
3.4.11 After making 10th cut, Continuous Miner will move to the inbye side of the Pillar No.1 for 11th cut and in the mean time 10th
cut will be supported by Twin Bolter as per SCAMP.
3.4.12 After making 11th cut, Continuous Miner will move to the left side of the Pillar No.3 for 12th cut and in the mean time 11th
cut will be supported by Twin Bolter as per SCAMP.
3.4.13 In this manner all the pillars of the proposed Panels-TB3 and PB2 in R-VIIB Seam will be formed systematically as per
recommended dimension and galleries will supported as per SCAMP.
3.4.14 In the geologically disturbed areas such as multiple cross slips and faults, the cut-out distance (COD) should not exceed 8 m
and should be reduced as per requirement/roof conditions..
3.4.15 No development shall be made within 15m of any fault.

3.5 Only experience/trained Assistant Managers, Overmen and Sirdars shall be deputed for development of pillars and they shall be
provided with a tracing of off-set plan of the panel, on a scale of R.F. 1:500, showing the up to date position of workings, and it shall be
updated in each shift. The offset plan shall contain all statutory restrictions, Strata Control and Management Plan, ventilation circuit,
escape routes, geological disturbances etc.
3.6 There shall be kept in the panel constantly available for use suitable means of detecting carbon monoxide (CO) gas approved by
the Chief Inspector of Mines. If at any time, 50 ppm or more CO detected in the panel, all persons shall be withdrawn from the
panel/mine and provisions of Regulation 138 of Coal Mines Regulations, 2017 shall become applicable.

3.7 Factor of safety of pillar shall be calculated for each pillar developed, based on actual dimensions of the pillar and recoded in
bound paged register kept for the purpose. If, factor of safety calculated is less than 2.0 for any pillar, further development shall be
discontinued and this Directorate shall be intimated forthwith. The work of development shall not be resumed until clearance is
obtained from this Directorate.
3.8 Whenever seepage of water which is not normal to the seam is noticed at any place in any working or if there be any such
suspicion or doubt, such working shall immediately be stopped and the Regional Inspector shall forthwith be informed of such seepage
and such working shall not be extended further except with the prior permission in writing of the Regional Inspector and subject to such
conditions as he may specify therein.
3.9 All known and anticipated positions of faults, dykes and other geological disturbances and bore holes shall be clearly marked on
the plan and when the workings approach within 60 m of such disturbances and boreholes, a close watch shall be kept for any unusual
seepage of water or other liquid matter. As soon as such seepage is observed, no further workings shall be extended, workers withdrawn
from the mine and no work shall be resumed unless a written permission from this Directorate is obtained.
3.10 An approved environmental monitoring device to continuously record information regarding environmental conditions shall be
installed in the return side of the proposed panel as specified in the DGMS Tech. Circular No.6 of 2009.
4.0 Strata Control and Monitoring:

4.1 A person not below the rank of Assistant Manager having First Class Manager’s Certificate shall be appointed as “Strata Control
Engineer” who shall be adequately trained in the Strata Control and Monitoring Plan (SCAMP) formulated as above. A suitable
organization shall be provided to him for the purpose.

4.2 A scientific body having expertise and infrastructure shall be engaged for monitoring of strata behaviour including convergence,
load on supports, and stresses developed over the pillars, during development and suggest corrective measures. Adequate numbers of
instrumented bolts shall be used at locations to be decided in consultation with scientific institutions for generation of data regarding
roof behaviour etc.
4.3 Suitable strata behavior monitoring instrumentation with remote monitoring facility in consultation with scientific institution shall
be installed in the vulnerable pillars before isolating the panel for monitoring the condition of the pillars to warn against any premature
crushing or failure.
4.4 Following instruments shall be installed during development:

4.5 Design monitoring and every shift routine roof monitoring results of roof and pillar-side movement, bolt loads and other
parameters as included in the “Strata Control and Monitoring Plan (SCAMP)” shall be recorded in a bound paged book kept for the

purpose, and every entry shall be signed by the Strata Control Engineer and countersigned by the Manager. The records shall be
reviewed periodically as well as in case of any symptomatic change.
5.0 Ventilation:
5.1 The quantity of air to be circulated in the panel where diesel operated equipment is used shall not be less than 0.06 m3 per second
per KW of the machine in addition to 2.5 m3/minute of air per daily tonne output. No diesel powered vehicle shall be operated in the
mine if the concentration of Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Carbon Mono-oxide (CO), Nitrogen Dioxide (NO2) & Aldehydes exceeds 0.5%,
50PPM, 5 PPM & 10 PPM respectively.
5.2 The velocity of air current at the working faces shall comply the provisions of Regulation 160 of the Coal Mines Regulations,
2017.
5.3 All the standards and safety provisions stipulated in DGMS (Tech) Circular No.01 dated 13.08.2018 with regard to the use of
diesel equipment in belowground mine shall be strictly complied during entire development of the CM Panels.
6.0 Dust Control and Suppression:
6.1 Cutting of coal at the face by Continuous Miner shall not be commenced or carried out unless water spraying arrangement at the
cutting picks is provided and maintained in working order, Suitable mechanism to interlock the operation of water spraying and cutting
shall be provided and maintained at all the time in the Continuous Miner and other equipment where airborne dust is generated. In case
of generation of dust not normal to the continuous miner is observed, further coal cutting operation shall be stopped till the defects are
fully rectified.

6.2 Monitoring of airborne dust concentration at the face and 30m out bye of the face in return airway shall be done. The result of
such measurements shall be submitted to this Directorate.
7.0 Illumination:
7.1 Adequate illumination as per Regulation 178 read with DGMS Circular No.7 of 2016, dated 08.04.2016 shall be provided and
maintained in the working area, haulage/Belt Conveyor and travelling roadways, and other area where persons have to move/travel
including the area of development for thorough inspection and observations.
8.0 Supervision, Control and Management:
8.1 The Contractor/Outsourcing Agency, who would be operating these panel/panels on contract basis, shall comply with all statutory
obligations under the overall guidance and control of the Mine Manager, having responsibility under Regulation 39 of the Coal Mines
Regulations, 2017.
8.2 The panel shall be manned by adequately trained competent persons in operation and maintenance of Continuous Miner and other
machineries, who shall be duly authorized in writing by the manager. Duties and responsibilities of all officials and competent persons
associated with this technology shall be formulated and implemented.
8.3 Development work shall be kept under overall control/supervision of Assistant manager holding 1st class manager’s certificate in
General shift who shall be assisted by Safety Officer, Ventilation Officer, Assistant Managers in each shift and 01 overman & 01 Sirdar
in each shift.
8.4 Maintenance, testing and repair operations shall be kept under the supervision of an engineer having adequate experience.
8.5 A person not below the rank of Assistant Manager having First Class Manager’s Certificate shall be appointed as “Strata Control
Engineer” who shall be adequately trained in the Strata Control and Monitoring Plan (SCAMP) formulated as above. Adequate number
of trained manpower shall be provided to him for the purpose.
8.6 Routine condition monitoring and performance monitoring of the continuous miner and associated equipment shall be kept under
an engineer duly authorised for this purpose who shall be provided with adequate number of competent persons and facilities for the
purpose.
8.7 Structural training shall be imparted to all the work persons, supervisors and officials by the service provider and Original
Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
9.0 Standard Operating Procedures:
9.1 Code of practice for all the operations in the development shall be framed and implemented in the development of the proposed
panels.
9.2 Standard Operating Procedures for installation, operation and maintenance of face machinery and equipment viz. Continuous
Miner, Shuttle Car, Twin Bolter, Feeder Breaker and other associated equipment shall be framed based on the concept of risk
assessment and the same shall be implemented in the development of the proposed panels.
9.3 Suitable lockout system shall be provided and maintained at Continuous Miner, Shuttle Car and Quad Bolter including Feeder
Breaker in order to prevent self-starting of the machinery inadvertently during repair or maintenance work.
9.4 A Contingency Plan for withdrawal of Continuous Miner safely, in case of breakdown or stoppage due to fall or any other reason
in an unsupported area shall be formulated and submitted to this Directorate.
10.0 Safety Management Plan:

A Safety Management Plan on the manner of development, operation and maintenance of Continuous Miner, Shuttle Car and associated
equipment shall be prepared on the basis of risk assessment conducted at the mine in accordance with Regulation 104 of the Coal
Mines Regulations, 2017 and the same shall be submitted to this Directorate. Identification of risks and control mechanisms associated
with the manner of extraction, operation and maintenance of the equipment shall be formulated based on accepted international
standard procedures. This Plan shall also include a Gas hazard Safety Management Plan based on the Emergency Response, Gas
emission assessment and determine gas content threshold limit, Gas monitoring, Mine ventilation planning, Methane drainage, outburst
management, Prevention of Gas emission and spontaneous combination as per DGMS Technical Circular No.4, dated 24.02.2020.
11.0 Emergency Response and Evacuation Plan:
For dealing with the situation in the event of any abnormality Emergency Response and Evacuation Plan shall be made in accordance
with Regulation 252 of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017 and implemented. All persons working in the panel/panels shall be appraised
and trained in this regard.
12.0 Review and Assessment:
12.1 Safety and operational aspects of the development operations shall be closely reviewed from time to time at the higher level of
management and at a period of not less than seven days. The review shall be done by the mine management, scientific agency, Agent,
General Manager of the area and senior officers at corporate level besides the Manager and other persons involved in operation.
12.2 The report of review shall be maintained in a bound paged book kept for the purpose at the office of the mine.
12.3 It shall be ensured that the panel/panels shall be isolated completely with effective sectionalised stoppings as soon as the
development work is completed.

13.0 Please note that this permission is subjected to the following additional conditions:
13.1 In the event of any change in the circumstances connected with this permission, which is likely to endanger the life of workmen
employed in the mine or endanger the mine, the mining operations for which this permission has been granted shall be stopped
forthwith and intimation thereof sent to this Directorate. The said mining operations shall not be resumed without an express and fresh
permission in writing.
13.2 This permission is being issued specifically under the regulations mentioned above, and without prejudice to any other
provisions of law including the Mines and Minerals (Regulation & Development) Act, 1957, Mineral Conservation and Development
Rules, 2017 and the Minerals (Other than Atomic and Hydro Carbons Energy Minerals) Concession Rules, 2016, which may be or may
become applicable at any time.
13.3 If at any time any one of the conditions subject to which this permission has been granted is violated or not complied with this
permission shall be deemed to have been revoke with immediate effect.
13.4 The above permission may be amended or withdrawn at any time, if considered necessary in the interest of safety.
13.5 The above permission shall be valid for two (02) years from the date of issue of this letter.

Annexure-1
STRATA CONTROL AND MONITORING PLAN UNDER REGULATION 123 OF THE COAL MINES REGULATIONS,
2017
1.0 These rules shall apply for development of Panels-TB3 and PB2 in R-VIIB Seam at Nakrakonda-Kumardihi ‘B’ Colliery of M/s.
Eastern Coalfields Limited by Continuous Miner and Shuttle Car combination under Regulation 123 of the Coal Mines Regulations,
2017.
1.1 RMR was mentioned 59.5 in the application. This RMR shall be rechecked for validation in the panel/panels and Strata control
and Monitoring Plan (SCAMP) shall be reviewed accordingly.
2.0 SUPPORT SYSTERM FOR FRESHLY EXPOSED ROOF OF 2.4 M OR FULL SEAM THICKNESS WHICHEVER IS LESS IN
HEIGHT AND 6.0 M WIDE GALLERIES:
2.1 Full column resin grouted roof bolts of length not less than 1.8 m in length shall be set in rows at a maximum interval of 1.5 m
between bolts in the same row and 1.2 m between rows of bolts in all the development galleries. The distance between the solid pillar
side and the nearest bolt in a row shall not be more than 0.75 m. If conditions dictate i.e. shale roof with discontinuities and or
sandstone intrusions or minor faults, then additional supports in the form of panel mesh and w-straps shall be provided in addition to
the roof bolts.
2.2 The junctions shall be supported by 25% additional bolts.
3.0 SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR SIDES OF 2.4 M OR FULL SEAM THICKNESS WHICHEVER IS LESS IN HEIGHT AND 6.0 M
WIDE GALLERIES:
3.1 The sides of the gallery shall be kept supported by three rows of GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) bolts of 1.5 m in length in
staggered fashion in such a way that the rows shall be placed at a distance of 0.80 m, 2.0 m and 3.2 m respectively from the roof, and
the distance between bolts in a row shall not exceed 1.5 m. Whenever required, wire mesh in sides walls should be installed.

3.2 Additional supports for the area intersected with slips and faults: 1.8 m long resin bolts with wire netting and w-straps.

4.0 SUPPORT OF OTHER PLACES:
4.1 All the faults dykes, visible slips and breaks including geological disturbances in the roof shall be supported by full column resin
grouted roof bolts on both sides of the slip or disturbance, positioned 0.5 m from the slip and spaced not more than 1.2 m along the
length of the disturbance. The roof bolts shall be supplemented with ‘W’ straps and / or wire mesh. The length of these roof bolts shall
not be less than 1.8 m.
4.2 Support of ledges: All ledges, overhang, etc. shall be supported by full column resin grouted roof bolts of not less than 1.8 m in
length installed at interval of not exceeding 1.2 m in a grid pattern along with 'W' straps.
4.3 In the area where temporary static equipment is placed or maintenance work is to be undertaken on mobile equipment, side
support shall be installed consisting of mesh and not less than 1.8 m long rock bolts which are fully encapsulated with resin. The rock
bolts shall be installed to provide coverage of 1 bolt/sq.m.
4.4 All the recommendations of the Scientific Study report vide project no. IIT(BHU)/AKV/JMS/ECL Kumardihi-B/2023/05, dated
18.02.2023 on “Geotechnical Assessment for Development of Trunk Roads TB1, TB2 and TB3 and panels TB1, TB2, TB3, TB4 and
TB5 in R-VIIB Seam using Low Height Continuous Miner at Kumardihi B Mine, Bankola Area, ECL”, February, 2023 carried out by
DEPARTMENT OF MINING ENGINEERING, INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY),
VARANASI-221005, UP regarding supporting and strata monitoring shall be complied with during development of galleries in the
proposed Panels-TB3 & PB2 in R-VIIB Seam of the Mine.
5.0 MONITORING PERFORMANCE OF ROOF BOLTS:
5.1 To check the efficacy of the support system in the workings, SEPT (Short Encapsulation Pull Test) shall be done for every new
batch resin capsules, steel bolts & whenever change in lithology of the strata so as to ensure that consumables confirm to the desired
specification. Minimum anchorage strength of the resin grouted roof bolts shall be 22 Te. Effective organization under the supervision
of a Rock bolting Engineer shall be set up for SEPT (Short Encapsulation Pull Test).
5.2 Results of all such tests shall be recorded in a bound paged book kept for the purpose and signed by the Strata Control Officer.
The report shall be scrutinized by the Manager and corrective action shall be taken whenever necessary.
5.3 For erection and withdrawal of supports, Code of Practices will be prepared and implemented.
6.0 STANDARDS OF ROOF BOLTS/ OTHER SUPPORTS:
6.1 Roof Bolting:
6.2 The 20/22 millimeter diameter and 1.8 metres long tor-steel roof bolt shall be grouted in a 27/35 millimeter diameter holes. This
roof bolt shall be tightened with 150 mm x 150 mm x 6 mm thick bearing plates and nuts.
6.3 The roof bolts shall be tightened in such a manner that the initial setting torque is not less than 25 KN.

6.4 The quality of steel used for roof bolts shall confirm to IS 1786. The tensile strength of the steel used for rock bolts shall not be
less than 4,000 kg/cm2.
6.5 Resin capsules not exceed 800 mm in length and 24 mm diameter shall be used for grouting the roof bolts (150 second gel time
and 30 seconds setting time). Anchorage testing shall be carried out (destructive) such that the roof bolts give an ascertain anchorage
load of more than 10 tonne.
6.6 The provisions of the DGMS Circular Technical No.3 of 1996 regarding monitoring, safety, design, installation, quality control
and roof bolting management shall be complied with.

6.7 The provision of DGMS/S&T/Technical Circular (approval) No.11 of 2009 & No.3 of 2010 regarding standard composition and
properties required for Resin Capsules to be used as grouting material for roof bolting in mines shall be complied with.
7.0 OTHER SUPPORTS:

7.1 The steel wire rope used for either cable bolts or stitch ropes shall not be less than 19/22 millimeter diameter and shall not have
hemp core.
7.2 The timber used in the construction of cogs shall not be less than 1.2 metres in length and 100 millimeter thick having at least two
opposite sides juggled flat to provide suitable bearing surface.
7.3 No timber which is less than 15 centimeter in diameter shall be used as support. Props/Policemen-post shall be set on the solid
floor and not on loose packing material. The lids and wedges used with the props shall have a width not less than that of the prop,
thickness not less than 8 centimeter and length not less than 0.5 metres.

7.4 Props and cogs shall be set on solid floor and not on loose packing materials. They shall be kept tight against the roof. Where
props are to be set on sand, a flat base piece not less than 5 centimeter thick, 25 centimeter wide and 0.75 metres long shall be used.
Where cogs are to be set on sand, proper base of sufficient strength shall be constructed to prevent cogs from loosening.

8.0 The provisions of Regulation 124 and 125 of the Coal Mines Regulations, 2017 regarding setting and withdrawal of supports as
applicable herein shall be complied with.

9.0 All overhangs which cannot be dressed and made safe, shall be kept supported by inclined stay props at intervals not exceeding
one metre. Such stay props shall be provided to support each overhang at two suitable horizons. The lid on top of each such inclined
prop shall not be less than 0.75 m in length.
10.0 Matching supporting sub-system including twin bolter of adequate capacity to drill deep into the roof/side strata and number of
holes shall be provided. No person shall be deployed beneath unsupported roof for any purpose whatsoever.
11.0 Additional supports shall be set as and when necessary.
