MRI LUMBAR SPINE WITHOUT CONTRAST 10N
Clinical Data: H/O lower backache radiating to right leg – 3 years. H/O fall 1 year back.

MRI LUMBO-SACRAL SPINE:

Multiecho & multiplanar imaging through the lumbosacral spine was performed.
Lower dorsal cord and conus appear normal. Normal vertebral body heights with normal marrow
signals
At L1/2 and L2/3levels no significant degeneration or disc herniation.
At L3/4 level mild dessication of the intervertebral disc is noted with diffuse disc bulge causing mild
central canal stenosis and moderate narrowing of the lateral recesses and neural foramina bilaterally.
At L4/5 level mild dessication of the intervertebral disc is noted with tiny central annular tear and
minimal central disc bulge slightly indenting upon the anterior theca
At L5/S1 level no significant degeneration or disc herniation
No evidence of spondylodiscitis or mass lesion. Prevertebral and paravertebral soft tissue appear
unremarkable.

Conclusion:
At L3/4 level mild dessication of the intervertebral disc is
noted with diffuse disc bulge causing mild central canal
stenosis and moderate narrowing of the lateral recesses
and neural foramina bilaterally.
At L4/5 level mild dessication of the intervertebral disc is noted
with tiny central annular tear and minimal central disc bulge
slightly indenting upon the anterior theca.
