English Poet and one of the writers who focused on Romanticism (is concerned
with expressing the individual’s feelings and emotions. It also emphasizes
subjectivity.)But at first, as a young man In college Wordsworth's transformative
journey traveling to France during the French Revolution was inspired by ideals
of liberty and equality. He passionately embraced the revolutionary spirit that
influenced his writings. His famous work, The Prelude, Then he met Samuel Taylor
Coleridge a fellow poet. They published lyrical ballads a collection of poetry
and the birth of Romanticism. Stimulated by Coleridge and under the healing
influences of nature and his sister, Wordsworth began to compose short lyrical,

these were affectionate tributes to Dorothy, some were to daffodils, birds, and
other elements.

+Summary The speaker William Wordsworth describes what he felt while

wandering or walking down the valley when he saw the beautiful field of
daffodils. The sublime beauty of daffodils gives him happiness and joy.

+Theme As what I’ve said earlier Wordsworth is a nature enthusiast the main
theme could be nature or the love of nature. Wordsworth depicts how beautiful
the scenery he saw and what he felt after he witnessed this scenery.

+Message: it is about the writer’s journey in solitude. Being alone is different from
solitude. Solitude is the choice to be alone and use that time for reflection or
simply enjoyment in one’s own company. Let’s start normalizing solitude and
always practice self-assessment. In understanding ourselves we can make some
decisions that can make us happy, more suitable for us, and more informed
decisions. Step out of our comfort zones and start living.

+Symbolism- Symbolism is the use of words or images to symbolize specific

concepts, people, objects, or events. The key here is that the symbols used
aren't literal representations, but figurative or implied ones.
1. Clouds He compared himself to a cloud to show thoughtlessness we all know
that clouds in the sky have no direction to go to, they are just blown by the wind
if the wind blows north the clouds will go north, etc.
2. Daffodils maybe we can ask why daffodils? Why not Rose? Why not
Sampaguita? Based on my research The daffodils symbolize rebirth and new
beginnings. It's one of the first flowers to bloom at the end of winter, announcing
the beginning of spring and signifying the end of the cold, dark days. Less
commonly, daffodils may also be symbols of creativity, energy, resilience,
forgiveness, and vitality.
