“A woman is the full circle.

Within her

is the power to create, nurture, and

transform.”

- Diane Mariechild

Over the past years, the role, capability, and acknowledgment of women to be equally treated in the
society have been questionable. Women were underestimated, ruled, and expected to be under and to
depend on men. Fortunately, we have already reached the generation where women are slowly
acknowledged, embraced, and ignorance for women being equally treated right slowly fades. Women of
today have just proven that women aren’t just women. They are our assets, our soldiers, and the
family’s manager. As a matter of fact, men can do things women are also capable of, while women do
most of the things men cannot. They are the asset of change as they play a significant, active, and
intelligent role in decision making. They also contribute ideas and knowledge from their own
experiences that are helpful in altering negative situations into positive ones. Women are the soldiers of
rights and freedom, aiming to achieve the stage where they can make their own choices and decisions,
and where they can have have freedom in expressing and voicing out several issues needed to be
addressed. They are the voice of the voiceless, they speak for the weak. Their braveness are shown
through standing out through the crowd, being an eye opener to those who chose to be blinded, and
creating changes through advocacies, efforts, and even publications. A woman is powerful enough to
create a great change for they have created positive changes in their household first. A woman is a wife,
a friend, a teacher, a leader, an administrator, a manager, and most especially, a mother.
