activity will let the students become mindful of purchasing products or services on a cash or
installment basis.

The target audience is fellow consumers who are also interested in buying the same item
or product.

Situation
You are part of a community of consumers that provides information on smart buying
options. You are planning to buy an expensive item, and you want to analyze the
implications of buying the product on a cash or installment basis. You intend to share the
result of your analysis with your fellow consumers in the group.

Product
Based on the canvas of prices and installment schemes you gathered, compute the total
interest. Compare it with the amount due if the product is purchased on a cash basis.
Create a short explanation/presentation addressed to fellow consumers informing them of
their options and the implications of buying the product on a cash and installment basis.

Alternative Digital Output


Using Google Sheets, show how to compute the interest earned when a purchase is
made in cash or installment. You may use this template and refer to the example given.

Create a short video blog informing the viewers of their buying options for an
alternative digital presentation. Upload your video to YouTube and set the privacy
