1. You are selling pre-loved books with a mark-up of Php 60, which is 25% of cost.
Compute the following:
a. cost of each book (assume that the prices are uniform)
b. selling price of each book
c. mark-up rate based on the selling price

2. A family of five plans to go to a private resort for a vacation for two nights. If they go
on weekends, each person costs Php 1,500 per night. If they go on weekdays, each
person costs Php 975 per night. Compute the folowing:
a. mark-down rate on weekdays
b. the total savings if they go on weekdays.

3. A burger stall sells a burger sandwich at Php 48.00 each. For every two burgers you
buy, you will get the second burger marked-down at 25%. What is the total amount
for 15 burgers?
