Midterm Examination
POSTER MAKING

Overview:
For your midterm exam, you are tasked with creating a visually compelling and
informative poster for your short film. This poster will serve as a promotional tool, capturing
the essence of your film and generating interest from potential viewers.

Guidelines:
Poster Size and Format:
• Design the poster in the specified dimensions: A4 Paper Size.
• Kindly submit the poster in printed format. Use A4 Size Photo Paper for printing.
Title and Tagline:
• Ensure that the title of your short film is prominently displayed and easily readable.
• Craft a captivating tagline that provides a brief insight into the plot or theme of
your film.
• The title of the movie should be original.
Imagery:
• Incorporate high-quality images or illustrations that represent the mood and
essence of your short film.
• The imagery should be directly related to the storyline and characters. For the
content of the movie poster, the subject/character should be the members of the
group.
Film Credits:
• Include the names of key cast and members. Highlight the director, main actors,
and any other significant contributors.
Submission Deadline:
• The deadline for submitting your poster is November 23, 2023. Until 5:00 P.M. ONLY.
• Submission is by group. Kindly compile all the posters of your group members.
• Your storyline must also be submitted during the time.

EXTRA: Create a production Logo for your group/team. This should be included in the film.
This will be considered as 1 exercise.

TAKE HOME QUIZ
LITERARY MAGAZINE

1. Create a literary magazine layout with at least 5-pages.

2. Literary pieces may contain poems, songs, short story, literary art,
drawings, paintings, photography or anything that is creation of art.
3. Through those literary pieces, student shall create a layout design in
a form of magazine.
4. Those literary pieces can be original or can be taken from the
internet. If you are going to use literary pieces from the internet
please make sure to site the name of the owner on your layout.
5. Make sure to make a cover of your magazine
6. This activity will be considered as 5 quizzes.
7. Submission will be on November 30, 2023. Until 7:00 P.M. ONLY.

FORMAT:
DIMENSIONS: A4 size or International Paper Size
Kindly submit a printed copy of your literary magazine.

TAKE HOME ACTIVITY
PRODUCT ADVERTISEMENT CREATION

1. Each student should select a product they find interesting or believe has
advertising potential.
2. Create a product advertisement for your chosen product. You MUST
capture the photo you will be using.
3. Develop a creative concept for your advertisement. Consider the tone,
style, and emotions you want to evoke.
4. Each student will present their advertisement to the class.
5. To be printed in A4 Size Paper and to be submitted on November 30, 2023.
6. Presentation will be on November 30, 2023.
7. During the presentation, the student will explain the creative concept,
target audience, and key elements of the advertisement.

 FINAL EXAMINATION
SHORT FILM

Deadline for Submission:

FEBRUARY 1, 2024 | UNTIL 5:00 P.M. ONLY

Instructions:
1. Create a group of 5-6 members.
2. Write a short script for a short film that will run from 8-10 minutes.
3. Create a Title for your film. Can be in any language.
4. The production logo created must be shown before the film.
5. The group shall be present in the film, you can also add some extra cast if
necessary.
6. The director and Cameraman can be excluded from the screen time.
7. A credits run down shall be seen in the last part of the film.
8. You can use any video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Sony Vegas,
Filmora, etc.
9. The video should be uploaded in Youtube and submit the link on the google
form provided.
