REPORTER 1(BRIANALYN): Thank you, Rodel. Officials defended Bauang’s move to kill stray dogs
saying this was meant to protect the people and prevent the spread of
rabies infection that has killed at least 4 residents this year. We have
here with us Mayor Jamie De Guzman, the mayor of Bauang, La Union.
Good afternoon, mayor. What pushed you to implement such act like
killing stray dogs?

Mayor (RUHAMAH): They were already many cases of rabies infection and it already killed 4. We
don’t want that this case of rabies will worsen so we were forced to shoot any
 dogs that are spotting to be acting wild because there is a great possibility that it
might attack anyone.

REPORTER 1(BRIANALYN): What are further plans in preventing the spread of rabbies infection
other than the killing of stray dogs?

Mayor (RUHAMAH): We have an ordinance stating that the dog owners must prevent their pets
from straying. It penalizes erring them P1000.00. another is the
vaccination of dogs with the help of Mr. Warren Tan, the sales manager
and training liason of Pet One.

REPORTER 2(Lianne): Thank you Rodel. A local government employee was killed Sunday after his
gun accidentally fired. The employee was identified as Kennt Pura, 33
yrs. Old, assigned to Lucena City Engineers Office and Brgy.Tongco,
Tayabas City.The victim’s wife said Pura was cleaning his 38
calibrevolver inside the bedroom when the gun fell to the floor and
fired, hitting him in the face. Unfortunately, he died on the spot. That

REPORTER 3 (CRISA): Thank you, Ruhamah. The Malaysian Government on Tuesday appointed an
independent tree-member panel to investigate the authenticity of
video clip. The video shows a lawyer talking a senior judge in his mobile
phone. The lawyer allegedly talked about how he helped to get the
judge appointed to his past and to elevate him further with the help of
a tycoon and a senior politician. Other prominent judges are also
named.
The panel will present its findings to the government which will make them
public, It is to prevent the possibility that the doubt would arise regarding the
creditability and the integrity of the country’s judicial system. This is all for our

the NBA play-in tournament after a 129-118 loss to the Denver
Nuggets. Despite LeBron James being out with an ankle sprain, the
Lakers fought against the Nuggets, but MVP Niko Jokic led Denver to
victory with an impressive performance. Anthony Davis, making his
return, gave his all with 28 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists, but it
 wasn’t enough. The Lakers need to secure 10 th place to have a shot at
the playoffs, but they’ll have to overcome formidable teams like the
Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors, and a rematch with the Nuggets

sexiest showbiz princess in town, Ms.Sheena Balitte, Sheena
REPORTER 5: Hello!Hello!Hello! Well I am here right now with Ms. Pops Fernandez. Good
afternoon Ms. Pops. Before I begin, I would like to congratulate on your 25 th year in
showbizness.

POPS: Thank you!

REPORTER 5: Miss Pops, what is the feeling of surviving showbizness for 25 years?

POPS: Right now, I am very glad of course, I am very thankful to everybody who has touched my
life and made me a better person.

REPORTER 5: Oh wow! You know what, I am very amazed of your being down to earth. So, let’s
look back on how you started.

POPS: I was a choir member in grade school at IS. One of my friends signed me up for a talent in
school that I was totally against. But it made me realize that I love being on stage, with
everybody watching and clapping.
REPORTER 5: Before you became a concert queen, what is the feeling of performing onstage?
POPS: At first, I was anxious and afraid to go onstage. But I developed a way to convince myself
that I’m not afraid, I’m not shy. I’m here to perform and that I’m worthwhile. Before every
performance, I talk to myself and fix my mindset, it helped me calm down and I’ve been
doing it ever since now.
REPORTER 5: That’s our queen! What a technique that we can all follow especially to those who
have stage fright. What about now, your performance earlier was awesome, what were
you thinking while you were onstage?
POPS: When I was onstage, I knew I could sing my heart out, then thought of what I’ve wanted. I
am overwhelmed with the attention and the applause.
REPORTER 5: Would you mind sharing us the secret of how you stayed in showbizness that long?

POPS: Looking back, I guess. A good friend of mine discovered my talent for singing.
REPORTER 5: What about it?
POPS: She knew that I have stage fright. Secretly, she auditioned my name to a singing
competition that would grant me a scholarship in her grade school at IS. I only found out
just three days before the performance and I panicked. However, she helped me practice
and I got the scholarship. It is truly nostalgic
POPS: It gives you a good feeling and sometimes a sad one when you look back, but you learn
from those moments and the good thing here is that you become stronger and wiser.

REPORTER 5: I hope everybody would follow your footsteps. Congratulations once again. Thank
