B. Review of the past lesson

What was our last topic in Applied Motor Control?

What’s dynamic Means?
What’s Balance?
C. Discussion
Introducing of the new topic “Hierarchical Theory”
Sharing of lesson’s objectives
At the end of the lesson, at least 75% of the students should be able to:
a. determine the hierarchical theory;
b. identify the different kind of theories in hierarchical theory.
c. Ice breaker

Let us define hierarchical theory

The brain has higher, middle, and lower levels of control, equated with higher
association areas, motor cortex, and spinal levels of motor function

Organizational control that is top down i.e. each successively higher level exerts control
over the level below it.
The hierarchical control model is characterized by a top-down structure, in which higher
centers are always in charge of lower ones.

D. Application (Activity)
Make your own explanation about the hierarchical theory

E. Generalization
Again, what was our topic today?
What is the meaning of top down structure?

F. Evaluation
Answer the following questions:

1. It’s a part of the body that has higher, middle and lower levels of control
2. Who is found that reflexes controlled by lower levels of the neutral
hierarchy are present?
3. A year to development of human mobility in terms of appearance and
disappearance of progression of hierarchically organized reflexes.
4. It is a motor control attributes motor development to the maturation of
neutral processes.
5. She's stated that the release of motor responses in children with CP
integrated at lower levels.
( TRUE OR FALSE )
6. Equilibrium reactions, righting reactions and primitive reactions. Are
includes in postural development ?
7. Rudolf magnus found that reflexes controlled by high levels of the neutral
hierarchy.
8. Brunnstrom used this theory describe disordered movement that
following a motor cortex lesion.
9. The hierarchical control model is characterized by a top - down structure
which lower centers are always in charge of lower ones.
10. Cortex , midbrain, spinal cord and brainstem .Do you think are also part
of neuroanatomic structure?
