Objectives:
4. Enhance the ability to describe pictures using Passive and Active Voice.
5. Compare and contrast extra-curricular activities in Great Britain and Ukraine using provided
phrases.
Procedure:
1. Introduction (5 minutes):
2. Vocabulary Practice (10 minutes): a. Introduce and explain new vocabulary related to extra-
curricular activities. b. Have students practice using the new words in sentences. c. Discuss the
significance of being devoted, generous, and hard-working in extra-curricular activities.
3. Pair Work (15 minutes): a. In pairs, students create a list of extra-curricular activities
encouraged at their school. b. Form groups with another pair to exchange and discuss their
ideas.
Each student tells the class about the extra-curricular activities at their school.
5. Grammar Practice – Passive and Active Voice (15 minutes): a. Rewrite sentences in the Passive
Voice. b. Rewrite sentences in the Active Voice.
Look at pictures and describe each using both Passive and Active Voice.
Discuss and compare extra-curricular activities in Great Britain and Ukraine using the
provided phrases.
Practice using the phrases to compare and contrast in pairs or small groups.
Assign students to write a short paragraph about their favorite extra-curricular activity.
Note: Adjust the timings as needed based on the pace of the class and the specific needs of the
students.
