Who is he?
Mark Elliot Zuckerberg was born on May 14,
1984, in New York. He is an american computer
programmer, app developer and a
philanthropist. He is famous for being the
inventor of FaceBook. He is also a jiu jitsu fighter
and loves spending his free time training.

Why did he start
programming
He was inspired by his dad to start
programming at the age of 10. He used an
Atari Video Computer System to learn
BASIC, a type of programming language.
After that, his parents bought him a
computer, and his dad gave him C++ so he
could start learning on his own.

Mark attend school at Harvard
University where he launched Facebook
in February 2004 with his roommates
Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum,
Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes. It
started off by only being used in select
college campuses but in 2012, it hit 1
billion users.

Mark Zuckerberg dropped out of Harvard to
pursue his dream of creating a business. He
used his programming skills and the help of
his friends to make FaceBook and now, it is
one of the biggest companies in the world.
