ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING THE CHANGES IN SCHEDULE OF THE 1ST QUARTERLY

EXAMINATIONS, COMPLETION DAY, CONSULTATION DAY, AND RETREAT

To All SHS Academic Staff and Learners:

In line with the announcement of the University of Santo Tomas, through the Office of the
Secretary General (OSG), that classes in all levels and office work are suspended today,
October 6, 2023 (Friday), please be guided by the following changes in the schedule of the
activities affected by the suspension of classes:

1. The examinations scheduled today, October 6, 2023 (Friday), will be moved to

October 9, 2023 (Monday). The same time, room allocation, and proctoring
assignment will be followed as stated in Memos 22 and 23.

2. The Completion Day originally scheduled on October 9, 2023 (Monday) will be

moved to October 10, 2023 (Tuesday). There will be no regular classes on this day
and a separate schedule and guidelines will be disseminated for this.

3. The Consultation Day originally scheduled on October 10, 2023 (Tuesday) will be
moved to October 11, 2023 (Wednesday). There will be no regular classes on this
day and a separate memorandum will be issued for this.

4. The tertiary programs orientations for STEM and GAS-HA will proceed as
scheduled on October 10-11, 2023 (Tuesday-Wednesday). However, STEM and
GAS-HA learners who have requirements to complete should prioritize the
completion on October 10, 2023 (Tuesday).

5. The tertiary programs orientations and strand forum for MAD will proceed as
scheduled on October 11, 2023 (Wednesday).

6. The tertiary programs orientation for HUMSS originally scheduled onsite at the
Frassati Auditorium on October 9, 2023 (Monday), shall be moved to a later date.

7. Regular classes will resume on October 12, 2023 (Thursday).

8. The classes scheduled to Pray the Rosary at the chapel on October 9, 2023 (Monday)
may join the classes scheduled on the following Monday (October 16, 2023). Follow
the original time slot as previously announced.
 9. The Grade 11 Recollection will proceed as scheduled. If learners need to complete
any academic requirement on October 10, they may coordinate with their teachers
and agree on a new schedule.

10. The Grade 12 Retreat batches scheduled in October are also moved to a later date.
