Terms and Conditions

These are the store and website policies for Rebovich Cakes and Bakes and its owner,
Ashley Rebovich. We (referring to Rebovich Cakes and Bakes) are a sole proprietorship
home bakery business based out of Macungie, PA, USA. We offer cakes, cupcakes, cookies,
bars, among other desserts. These terms shall apply to the sale of all products and all
website visits unless a separate, private agreement is made between us and the customer.
By ordering from Rebovich Cakes and Bakes you agree to these terms and conditions and
understand that they may be modified at any time without notice.

I. Ordering, Deposits, Payment, and Pricing

a. The process of submitting the order request form does not guarantee an
order placement. It is to notify us that you are interested in ordering a
product(s) and makes communication simpler. We respond to every
submission via email or DM within 24 hours to notify the buyer of the
receival of the form and to continue or decline the order process. Orders
must be made with at least one week notice-no exceptions. For larger orders
(those with 50 or more servings,) a request should preferably be sent in at
least two weeks in advance to ensure availability. A confirmation message
and receipt will be sent after finalizing details. This is when the order is
officially placed.
b. We reserve the right to decline any order request due to a lack of availability,
short notice, a lack of necessary supplies, or a design that does not fit our
niche and therefore may be below our quality standards for the buyer.
However, we try to accept as many orders as possible.
c. A 50% minimum deposit must be made within 48 hours of the order
confirmation for any order $40 or more. If it is not received, the order will
not be honored and the buyer will be notified via email or DM. Buyer is free
to pay more at this time. Deposits will be accepted on orders less than $40,
but are not required.
 d. Payment is accepted via cash, check, PayPal, or Venmo. If the buyer wants to
make a deposit in cash or check, it must be hand-delivered within 48 hours of
the order confirmation at a time decided on by the buyer and seller.
e. Due to Venmo’s terms and conditions, any transactions made through their
service must be inconspicuous. Use random emojis or words only as the
transaction name-never any words relating to payment or ordering.
f. All prices listed on the bakery website are base prices and will increase with
customization and special requests. Prices are subject to change at any time
without notice and are non-negotiable.
g. We will not reply to any scam order requests or messages.
II. Cancellations and Refunds
a. A lack of a required deposit within the 48-hour timeframe is an automatic
cancellation. Buyer will be notified of this information via email or DM.
b. Cancellations cannot be accepted within 48 hours of the predetermined
pickup/delivery date. The buyer is required to receive and pay for their
order.
c. Deposits cannot be refunded. If an order is paid in full, but then cancelled
prior to 48 hours before the predetermined pickup/delivery date, 50% of the
cost will be refunded.
d. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel the buyer’s order, the buyer will
be notified immediately and any money paid will be refunded.
e. If the customer received the incorrect product, photographic evidence must
be sent to the seller within 48 hours of receiving the product in order to
discuss the issue. A refund of 50%-100% may be refunded.
f. If the customer received a product they are not satisfied with, photographic
evidence must be sent to the seller within 48 hours of receiving the product
in order to discuss the issue. Unfortunately, texture, flavor, design, color, and
other features of this sort can be subjective so this issue is not fully
refundable. Depending on the circumstance, determined by the seller, up to
 50% may be refunded or the buyer may receive up to $50 store credit also
dependent on the size of the order in question.
III. Customer Responsibility
a. Once any product leaves the seller’s hands, it is the buyer’s responsibility. No
refunds will be made for damage caused by the buyer. If the product is
damaged by the seller during delivery, up to 50% of the order cost will be
refunded.
b. It is the buyer’s responsibility to keep products safe in their own vehicle
including keeping products on a flat surface and keeping the interior cool. It
is also the buyer’s responsibility to keep products safe in their own home or
at the venue. Baked goods should be stored in a cool, dry environment and be
kept away from direct sunlight. Further care instructions are placed on
product boxes.
c. The customer is responsible for arriving at the correct pickup time or being
home when the product is delivered. The customer must pay in full at
pickup/delivery time or before. Payment will not be accepted afterwards.
d. A phone number must be entered in the order request form in the instance
that the buyer isn’t at the correct location for pickup/delivery and needs to
be quickly contacted. The buyer’s phone number is not used otherwise and is
kept strictly confidential.
IV. Consultations
a. Consultations can be arranged upon request of the buyer. This is only for
orders that offer 100 servings or more. These will be arranged at a specific
place and time and start at $15 per person. Payment may increase dependent
on the amount and type of items the buyer wants to test. Payment must be
made at the time of consultation or before.
b. If the buyer goes through with the order, half of the consulation cost will be
subtracted from the buyer’s order.
c. If the buyer does not go through with the order, no consulation costs will not
be refunded.
V. Information Sharing
a. No personal information submitted through the forms on the Rebovich Cakes
and Bakes website will be shared with any third parties and is used strictly
for business orders.
b. Customers are not allowed to share any personal information of ours online.
Anything that isn’t on the website or on social media should not be shared.
This includes, but is not limited to, phone numbers, addresses, transactions,
receipts, etc.
c. Any customer photos or testimonials on our website or social media are
posted with permission and are kept anonymous. Customer photos are not
our own and are clearly labeled.
VI. Property
a. Every word, picture, and video on the Rebovich Cakes and Bakes website,
Rebovich Cakes and Bakes social media, and all affiliated links are our
property unless specified otherwise. These are not to be reshared without
written permission or used in a way that appears fraudulent.
