1 E1071 OPERATOR MANUAL

1.1 E1071 in General


The E1071 operator panel is available on the starter panel and intended for supervision and control of the
chiller plant.

The E1071 is a finger-touch screen where all commands are made. By pressing specific areas on the screen
the display will change pictures, thus commands can be given or parameters can be changed.

1.1.1 Hot keys


By touching one of the icons in the bottom line of the screen it is possible to jump between the plant pictures.

When touching the MAIN icon in the upper left corner, the Main picture will appear on the screen.
Touching the ALARM icon in the upper right corner of the picture enables the alarm list to appear.

1.1.2 Common objects (symbols)

A movement key.
Tap this key to jump to (in this case) the “PLANT” menu.

A status text.
Example: Status of the compressor.

A monitored value.
Example: Actual temperature.

An input field. Can be a selection box, numeric or an alphanumeric field.


Tap on the field to access the keyboard.
Some fields are protected by a password.

Symbol for a heating and cooling coils.

Symbol for a heating and cooling coils.


This indicates that a sub menu is available.
Tap on the symbol to access the sub menu.

Symbol for a fan motor.

Symbol for a fan motor.


This indicates that a sub menu is available.
Tap on the symbol to access the sub menu.

Symbol for a stop push buttons.

1.1.3 Using the input fields.


There are four different input fields: A selection box, a confirmation, numeric or an alphanumeric field.
To alter a value, tap the field.
This will display the input keyboard or selection box.
Some fields require confirmation of the new value before it is changed.

1.1.4 Password
Some inputs require a password. This password is “1266”.
A requester similar to the alphanumeric input field pops up when the password is required.

2.14 AHU enthalpy exchanger picture


The following pictures allow the operator to change parameters and commands.

When push on the “OFF” icon, a stop command will be send to the exchanger starter.
When push on the “ON” icon, a start command will be send to the exchanger starter.
When push on the “AUTO” icon, the exchange will be started/stopped from the control.

The high outdoor temperature limit for started the exchanger can be set.

Replace according to the panel manual.
PLC CPU Error The PLC CPU is failing. Contact YORK.
PLC CPU is not in run-mode The PLC CPU is stopped.
