Experimental #6 Common Emitter Amplifier

BY: Ibrahem Abu Hawash

Summary :

This experiment shows the Common Emitter Amplifier circuit and the voltage,
current, and power gain you can get from this circuit and their characteristics,
typically used as a voltage amplifier. It offers high current gain, medium input
resistance, and high output resistance.

Equipment’s :
Transistor (2n2222A), Resistors, Resistance decade box, Connecting wires,
Voltmeter, Ammeters, DC power supply, function generator, capacitors.

Objectives:

1. To design a common emitter transistor (NPN) amplifier circuit.

2. To find the voltage and current gain to the (BC337) transistor.

CONCLUSION :

After this experiment, we find that the Common-Emitter small-

signal amplifier is have a good voltage gain among the three
amplifiers and it shows a 180-degree phase difference between the
input and the output, Amplifiers are very helpful in increasing a
small signal, whether its voltage, current or power to become a
larger signal.
