The given line graph illustrates the sales of different methods in purchasing music from 2011 to

2018. It is evident that CDs, which once dominated the market, experienced a significant decline,
while in contrast, streams was a method that increased substantially( while streams emerged as the
most popular choice.

In 2011, more than half of the total sales were by CDS, at around 55%, followed by downloads,
which stood at approximately 35%. Also, music sales from streams were the most uncommon, with
only about 5% of users. However, over the next 4 years, the popularity for buying CDs declined by
20% and streams climbed by 15% in the same period. Downloading music reigned supreme in the
total number of users in 2014, reaching a peak of almost 45%.

For the latter half of the chart, the prevalence of music downloads dropped from around 43% to
merely 30%, trailed behind by purchasing CDs, at around 25%. Conversely, streams continued its
upward trajectory to reach a new height of more than 40% of users and by far became the most
common method in paying for music.
