    TUTORIAL 1

    The graph shows music purchases between 2011 to 2018. It shows three
    different ways to buy music from 2011 to 2018 which are streaming, downloading
    and buying CDs.

    Downloads and physical sales of music continue to decline. Downloads fluctuate


    up to 2014 in an expected 15% percent. The latter has been in decline since 2011,
    while the decline for the former began in 2014. However, there has been a sharp
    increase in music streaming since 2013.

    In 2011, music sales were CDs, at 50% of all sales. On the other hand, streaming
    is not common at all at only 5%. When CD sales started going down, downloads
    started going up. They grew steadily and more downloads than physical sales in
    2013. At the same time, streaming doubled and grew even more dramatically the
    following year. Downloads rose faster in 2014 than sales but fell to 25% in early
    2018.
