The two pie charts show the percentages of four areas of online retail sales in Canada in two years 2005
and 2010.

Overall, it is obvious that the proportions of video games and food & beverage witnessed an upward
trend, while the opposite was true for E & A and home furnishings. Besides, the proportion of E & A was
the highest over time.

In 2005, electronics and appliances accounted for 35% of online sales, which was the highest in this year.
This was 10% higher than the rate of home furnishings. After that point, there was a slight decline by 5%
in the rate of E&A. And the rate of home furnishings experienced a significant decrease to 15%.

Two other categories left in these charts were food & beverage and video games. At the beginning of
the period, the percentage of video games stood at only 18%, while that of F&B was 4% higher. In 2010,
the figure for F&B saw a dramatic increase and reached its peak at 32%, which was the highest figure
this year. And there was a similar pattern in the percentage of video games, at 23%.
