WILL WE LIVE ON THE MOON?

Someday people will live on the Moon. Scientists

now believe that by the year 2030 this will be possible.
A group of four astronauts will leave Earth to live on
the dark side of the Moon. The journey will take them
four days.

The astronauts will live on the dark side of the

Moon because this side has water. They will live in a special house. Scientists now
believe there is a large ice lake on the dark side of the moon. This ice will give them
water. The astronauts will live in special buildings. At these buildings, astronauts will
have air so that they can breathe. They won’t have to wear their spacesuits in the
buildings or wear special helmets on their heads.

The astronauts won’t have to do housework. On Mondays at 4 o’clock, robots

will do the housework for them. The astronauts won’t eat food. Instead, they will take a
pill three times a week: on Tuesdays, on Wednesdays and on Saturdays!
