    STATICS OF RIGID BODIES

    Determine all the forces in the Howe roof truss shown in the figure below using the method of
    joints and the method of sections. The dimension in this problem is in meters, and the load,
    which is in kN, in the joints 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 are the last two digits of your student number. In
    case your student number ends with 00, assume the load as 100 kN each. Write your answer in
    a clean sheet of legal-size bond paper. Write legibly. Box your answers, which should be in the
    nearest hundredths, in each load.
