Method Statement for Switchboard Installation

1 Preparation

1.1 Ensure that the materials to be used for installation are of the inspected and approved brands and type.

1.2 Ensure that the installation works procedures are fully comprehended by the supervisor and his workers.

1.3 Ensure that approved type of Switchboard/components are used

1.4 Studied the SLD layout from the latest shop drawings.

2 Switchboard Installation

2.1 From the working drawings, locations of Switchboard are marked on site taking reference from the column and / or beam
grid lines.

2.2 Mark out the holes position and start drilling holes once marking is done

2.3 After all holes are drilled, install Switchboard with accessories and ensure fitting is properly fixed.

2.4 Once all require switchboard termination are installed, check when to turn on and perform testing.

2.5 Lifting Device will be used for high-level Switchboard installation.

2.6 Supervisor to check and make sure all Switchboard is secured and ready for inspection.

2.7 Call for inspection with main-con and RTO.

2.8 Approval from RTO before Turn-on
