Rationale

Family and community involvement in school will strengthen the operation of the
school with the help of community officials, parents and administrators. Family and
community involvement provide any means of support to improve the school
community, and give appropriate feedbacks. The school cannot function alone without
the involvement of the family and community.
Comprehensive school health program includes a range of initiatives and
activities aimed at promoting the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of students.
Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges students specially the CTE students will
coordinate/ partnership with the healthcare foundation here in GenSan like Brigada
foundation, BobsLor foundation, KCC healthcare foundation and St. Elizabeth hospital.
With that, we have created a program that would help the students, staff and the
community who don’t have budget in check ups and buy medicine. In this program the
organizing committee proposed Quarterly check up and free medicine with the
collaboration of healthcare services and foundations in GenSan to improve their
physical and mental well-being.
The program will be Annual check-up and Free medicine in Ramon Magsaysay
Memorial Colleges that will not just the students will benefit this program, but also their
parents and people in the community.
