3.3 Tone of Color


a) The color tone of the coating film surface is based on a color sample plate issued by the Design
Center.
b) Unless otherwise specified, the color is glossy black.
c) The judgment of color tone is made by the department in charge of quality control based on the limit
sample. The limit sample shall be the one agreed between the parties.
3.4 Restricted and reportable substances
Paint coating shall comply with ISC-A00-008Y Restricted and reportable substances for parts.

4 TEST METHOD
The test method for paint film shall be in accordance with ISC-E00-006Y “Test methods for paint finish”.

5 SPECIFYING METHOD
a) The specification of general coating is indicated by the coating performance symbol and appearance
quality grade. Add color tone and / or additional performance symbol as needed (see Fig. 1).

b) The Performance of Paint Coating code consists of the coating classification code (see Table 2) and
the test time for coating durability (mainly salt spray resistance). See Attached Tables 1 to 4.

A request for doubt / revision of this standard shall be made to the department in charge of this standard.
The department in charge shall consult with the relevant departments and propose revisions to the
Standardization Committee as necessary.
