-A democratic intervention is a military convention by external
forces with the aim of assisting democratization of the country
where the intervention takes place(Merkel, W. and Grimm, S.,
2008).

system of government where the people have the power
to choose their leaders and have a say in decision-
making. It values equality, individual rights, the rule of
law, accountability of leaders, and active citizen
