INFORMATION LOADING:
- A Review paper is an assessment
or evaluation of a work of art,
literature, film, or performance.
- It aims to provide readers with an
overview of an existing collection
of knowledge by reviewing a book
or an article and examining its
content, structure, style, and
statements.

- (The teacher explains the definition

of a Review Paper)

- The four essential parts of a

Review Paper: Introduction,
Description, Interpretation, and
Conclusion.
- In the introduction, it should
contain the essential details about
the subject being assessed such as
its title and author. Also, do not
forget your thesis statement.

- (Give examples)

- In the Description, it should contain

the simple description of the
artwork/book you are reviewing.
When we say “description” it tells
something about a work we are
evaluating
- (Give examples)

- In the Interpretation, you discuss

and analyze the work. You may
state:
 Interesting Facts
 Aspects that make the work
a success or failure
 Interesting Plot Twist
- (Give examples)

- Lastly, in the Conclusion, you

reinforce your main assessment,
Compare, or recommend the
material if you liked it.
- (Give examples)

- In addition, reaction papers,

reviews, and critiques usually range
in length from 250 to 750 words.

- Let us examine this Film Review

Example:

HOTEL MUMBAI (TERRORISM)-

Hotel Mumbai is directed by Anthony
Maras that is based upon true events. This
film is a recreation of violent and
unthinkable events that happened at the Taj
Mahal Palace Hotel in 2008 in the city of
Mumbai, India. While watching the film,
the special forces and the military took so
long to stop the attack. The message of the
drama is obvious, the best way to stop such
terrorist attack is peace education and to
improve the availability and firepower of
anti-terrorist firefighters. Overall, if you’re
a fan of thrilling movies, I highly
recommend the movie.
