the entire vine. It begins blooming in the spring and has a repeat bloom in the
summer. Thrives in well-drained, slightly alkaline soil, with roots mulched and
top growth in the sun. Requires an arbor or trellis for support.

drained, mulched soil.

making it very versatile. The shiny, dark green, lobed leaves turn a brilliant scarlet

Engleman Parthenocissus quinquefolia ‘Englemanii’

Engleman Ivy are self clinging, vigorous growing vines that do well in full sun to
shade and like well-drained soil. The dark green foliage turns scarlet to burgundy
in fall. Best fall color occurs when planted in sunnier sites. Berries are small and
bluish-black in color and often hidden until after the leaves drop in fall. They can
be used for ground cover or on walls or fences and require very little care.
