INTRO

Isla: Hi guys thank you for joining us This Evening.

You may be wondering why the studio is looking so festive; It’s that time of the year for my favourite
episode- The Christmas special

PRESENTER 2: We’ve got some great stuff coming up to help you at home step into the Christmas
Spirit

ISLA: We’ve got our Christmas Jumpers on for Christmas Jumper day to support Save the children
charity,

NATIVITY INTRO SCRIPT

MADELEINE

That should hopefully give you a better insight into

the struggles many people go through on a daily basis,
and it just goes to show how lucky we really are. On a
more light-hearted note, we all love nativity, don’t
we? It’s the birth of Christ and the birth of
Christmas. Who wouldn’t love it! We follow the story of
the north star all the way to Bethlehem.

There are many different stories of the birth of Christ

and they’re all unique in their own way. When you add
the nativity and England today you get 16-year-old
dropouts and bald 50-year Dads who claim they can take
on Dwayne the rock Johnson in a fight. So, let’s take a
look at the newer and more modern way that Jesus Christ
our savior was born.

Food Bank Intro Script

I hope you enjoyed that; I know I did!

And I promise you won’t see acting any better than

that for the rest of the year. Ha-ha.

Obviously, this year the cost of living has been very

difficult for some people and parents typically do what
they must do to keep their families healthy and happy.

We’ve gone over to our most local food bank today to

educate and to be educated. We were interested to see
how it works and how helpful it is for people that need
it the most.

Food Bank segment Script

Isla:
Part of what makes Christmas, Christmas is the food we get to enjoy with family and friends. But
what if I told you two thirds of adults are worried, they won’t be able to afford `Christmas dinner

Sophie:

This is why we’ve teamed up with RediFood Food bank

Isla:

Over the past few weeks we have been holding a food bank collection at Henley college to do
our bit for the local people

Sophie:

The recent cost of living crisis has put an even higher strain on food banks with record numbers
of referrals

Isla:

more than ever Food banks need your donations.

Sophie:

we urge you to donate whatever you can to your local food banks

Isla:

anything you donate will make a life changing impact to those suffering
 Sophie:

Thank you

As a team we have taken it upon ourselves to raise some

money and donate some food to give to the families and
help out a little this Christmas.

STUDIO- CHRISTMAS JUMPERS
- Isla: Hello, today as many of you know it is Christmas jumper day and that is why we are
wearing these jumpers.

Sophie: We are supporting the save the children charity throughout our show today.

Isla: if you didn’t know already this charity provides unique care to children around the world
and is one of the largest independent children’s organisations.

Sophie: The charity started in 1919 and the founder helped to change the world’s perspective
of children altogether and she created new possibilities for them and ever since then they have
been working in schools’ homes and nurseries.

Isla: The charity made a total income of £286 million pounds in 2022 and spent the most money
on emergencies and children’s education.

Sophie: and just a reminder if you want to help the save the children charity contact the
