Margo’s Class!!!!
Dear Parents,
Welcome to K-5! The reason for this
newsletter is to keep you all updated
on our most recent curriculum
changes. We will be incorporating a
very exciting technology program
for Mathematics. The program is
called “SplashLearn” and it provides
access to many mathematical games
and tools that will be very beneficial
for the students. We will be using
this program a fair amount in the
classroom so I encourage you and
your child to play around with it at
home as well. The more familiar you
are with the app the more beneficial
it will be for you and your child.
Please do not hesitate to contact me
with any questions or concerns you
may have regarding this new
technology. I hope you have a

SplashLearn!!!!
SplashLearn provides access to an
interactive educational platform that
integrates games and curriculum-based
content for Math and Reading. This
platform provides over 8,000 educational
games, activities, and worksheets for all
students from pre-K through 5th grade.
Moreover, SplashLearn provides live classes
from experienced teachers for both Math
and Reading.
The platform is fairly easy to use.
Once you create your account you can
explore everything SplashLearn has to offer.
Which is a lot! :) You can choose any game
or worksheet you would like. SplashLearn
will provide you with the correct answers
and explanation if you happen to get any
wrong. You can play unlimited amounts of
games and as many worksheets as you
would like and each time your child does
so, they are building mathematical
knowledge.
Currently in our class we are
focusing on fractions. This platform
provides many games and worksheets to
help our students with fractions and
makes it fun and exciting. Notice the photos
as an example of a fun fraction game and the
explanation of what your child will learn by
playing it.
SplashLearn is an amazing program
to help make learning fun for students. It
supports interactive education,
individualized learning, exciting educational
games and activities, and so much more.
