Zoom Meeting Guidelines and Expectations

• Zoom is our virtual classroom, so we will behave accordingly.


• Attend Zoom meetings dressed appropriately.
• Display your first and last name on Zoom.
• Video is highly encouraged for class participation and learning.
o Video directed to school appropriate background and directed so that we
do not have other activity or people visible in the background. Class
participation grades are affected.
• Use school appropriate and respectful language.
• Mute your microphone when it is not your turn to speak.
• Cell phones put away.
o We are not videoing or taking pictures of our Zoom groups/meetings.
Doing so would be a violation of the District Technology Policy and will
result in disciplinary action.
• We Zoom together for teaching, learning, and showing kindness and consideration to
each other.
• Your participation in Zoom Meetings is completely dependent upon your decision to
abide by these guidelines and expectations.

We look forward to meeting with students who accept and respect these Zoom Meeting
Guidelines and Expectations.

We will use Google Classroom and/or Aeries as the main modes of communication for
students who choose otherwise.
