a). Asal : Pakistan

b). Ciri-ciri : Kajla is a breed of sheep, native to Punjab, Pakistan.[1] It is

mainly bred in Sargodha and other cities such
as Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, apart from being found in
some parts of India. The breed is bred primarily for its wool, meat
and milk. This breed can grow significantly large and bulky at a
young age.

e). Sifat-sifat : They are a large size with a white body coat with a black circle
around the eyes and a black tip extending to the lower one-third of
the ears. The wool yield is 3.0 kg (medium; fiber diameter 37.6m).
They have a typical roman nose, well developed and muscular
body and are very leggy. The Kajli average one liter per day of
milk production. Traits such as birth weight (BWT), 120-day adjusted
weight (120DWT), CAST gene polymorphism, using a PCR-RFLP
and its effect on live weight gain have all been studied. The
heritability of birth weight in Kajli sheep was found to be 0.05 ±
0.019. Kajli sheep are renowned for their juicy mutton quality and are
one of the most productive sheep breeds. Results have shown that the
Kajli sheep breed can be improved through selective breeding. Weight
and greasy fleece performance of the Kajli sheep is also of financial
significance.
f). Grazing Ability : Umumnya, hewan diizinkan untuk merumput selama tujuh
(Kemampuan merumput) sampai delapan jam setiap hari, kecuali selama hari-hari puncak
musim panas dan musim dingin, ketika hewan tinggal di dalam
kandang. Jam penggembalaan harian dibagi lagi menjadi lima
sampai enam jam merumput di semak-semak berduri dan pohon-
pohon liar berdaun dan dua sampai tiga jam merumput di pakan
 hijauan. Ketika kisaran pakan langka, ransum konsentrat dalam
jumlah terbatas diberikan kepada hewan.

g). Reproduksi : Kajli sheep are widely known for their prolificacy, with a birth rate
of 1.79 ± 0.18 lambs per birth and an average litter size of 1.76 lambs.
In addition, the breed has shown good performance in terms of
fertility, with a weaning rate of 97.5% and a lambing rate of 94.5%.
One of the main characteristics of the Kajli sheep is their ability to
produce high quality mutton and wool. The wool yield of the Kajli
sheep is 3.0 kg (medium; fiber diameter 37.6m). Furthermore, the
breed has a good adaptability to different climatic conditions, which
allows them to cope with extreme temperatures. In terms of
reproduction, the breed has been shown to have a high lamb survival
rate, with an average survival rate of 94.5%. Additionally, the breed
has been reported to have a good growth rate and a high level of feed
efficiency. The reproductive characteristics of Kajli sheep make them
an ideal choice for farmers looking for a productive and profitable
breed.

m) Asal : Turkey.

n). Ciri-ciri : The Karayaka (Black Neck) is a breed of domestic

sheep from Turkey. It is a dual purpose breed
producing meat and milk. The wool is used in carpets.
The Karayaka is classified as a long thin-tailed breed.[1]
Usually, the Karayaka is white with black eyes, head and
legs. Infrequently, brown or black animals are seen. Most
of the time, rams are horned and ewes are polled
(hornless).[1]
On average, ewes are 61.1 cm (24.1 in) at the withers
and 67.4 cm (26.5 in) long. Also, ewes weigh 35 to 40 kg
(77 to 88 lb) and produce 40 to 45 kg (88 to 99 lb) of milk
in a 130- to 140-day lactation period. In a study, it was
found that ewes produce about 1.8 to 2.4 kg (4.0 to
5.3 lb) of fleece with a 21 to 28 cm (8.3 to 11.0 in) staple
length and 39 to 43 micron diameter.[2]

There were around 1.7 million Karayaka sheep available

in Turkey in the year of 1983. And that number was
about 3.5 percent of the total sheep population there. On

y). Asal : Pakistan.

z). Ciri-ciri : The Kooka is a thin tailed, mutton and wool sheep that is
found in the Tharparker district and adjoining desert area
of Sind Province of Pakistan.

They are medium size with a white body coat and a black
face. The wool yield is 1.7 kg (coarse; fiber diameter
44.3m). They have long pendulous ears, a compact body,
and a fairly developed udder. This breed averages one
liter of milk produced each day.

xx). Ciri-ciri : Karakul sheep are a multi-purpose breed, kept

for milking, meat, pelts, and wool. As a fat-tailed breed,
they have a distinctive meat. Many adult Karakul are
double-coated; in this case, spinners separate the coarse
guard hair from the undercoat. Karakul is a relatively
 coarse fiber used for outer garments, carpets and
for felting. The meat from the sheep, and especially the
fat from the tail end, is an important ingredient in Uzbek
cuisine. Karakul, sheep breed of central or west Asian
origin, raised chiefly for the skins of very young lambs,
which are covered with glossy, tightly curled black coats
and are called Persian lamb in the fur trade. The wool of
mature Karakul sheep, classified as carpet wool, is a
mixture of coarse and fine fibres, from 6 to 10 inches (15
to 25 cm) long, of colours varying from black to various
shades of brown and gray.

severe drought conditions because they store reserves

there by German colonists in the early 20th
century.[2] They are currently listed as endangered.

Kinder is of moderate size, with a sturdy body inherited from
the American Pygmy, but with the longer legs of the
Nubian.[4]: 392 Height at the withers is 20–26 in (51–66 cm) for
does and 20–28 in (51–71 cm) for bucks, with weights of
about 115 lb (52 kg) and 135 lb (61 kg) respectively.[3] It is
horned in both sexes, but in the United States is
commonly disbudded. The coat is short; the breed
standard does not specify any particular coat color. A Kinder
doe may give some 680 kg (1500 lb) of milk in a lactation of
about 305 days. The milk is claimed to have an

Kinder does are productive dairy animals, especially for their size
and meat qualities. Like meat yield, milk yield depends on many
factors but Kinder does usually produce from four to seven pounds
of milk on twice-a-day milking, with an average of about five
pounds a day for a mature doe. Many breeders opt for once-a-day
milking and letting kids nurse the other 10 to 12 hours. Thanks to
her Nubian and Pygmy goat heritage, the Kinder doe’s milk often
boasts high butterfat. According to the KGBA, the 2020 butterfat
average for Kinders on milk test was 6.25%. High butterfat makes
Kinder milk much-loved by cheesemakers across the countr.

Hhhh). Ciri-ciri : Kamori also known as the Gulabi, is a popular goat

breed found in India and in the Sindh province
of Pakistan. They have a distinctive body structure with
long ears and neck and a large body, and a distinctive
color. The purebred Kamori goat is dark brown with
small coffee-colored or dark patches over its entire
body. Pure Kamoris are rare and expensive. Kamoris
have been crossed with Patairee goats, another breed
found in Sindh; hybrids have the Kamori's body
structure, but are less expensive. Additionally, genetic
analysis confirmed that the appearance of the Kamori
and Pateri (also known as Patairee) goat species are
very similar in that both species have long ears and
brown coats, although Pateri (Patairee) goat species
sometimes appear to have brown front quarters and
white hindquarters. Kambing Kamori sangat mirip
dengan kambing Pakistan lainnya. Mereka dicirikan oleh
telinga yang panjang dan menggantung, hidung yang
bengkok. Jantan terlihat sedikit berbeda, mereka memiliki

). Ciri-ciri : Animal of this breed are medium to large in size, polled,

with white, woolless, face and legs.
British Milksheep is the most prolific breed in the United
Kingdom with yearling litter size averaging 2.21, 2-year-
olds at 2.63 and 3.07 in mature ewes. Easy lambing is
generally reported in this breed with credit being given to
an exceptionally large pelvic area. A milk yield of 650-900
L has been reported during a 300-day lactation. As a
result of high milk yield, triplets reared on the ewe
average a weight gain of 0.33 kg/day. The milk solids is
also particularly high. The protein content rises from
about 5% in early lactation to 7.5% in late lactation, and
the fat content changes from 5.5-9%.British Milksheep
produce a heavy, lean carcass. Fleece weights range
from 4.0 kg in ewes and over 6.5 kg in ras. The demi-
lustre wool have a spinning count of 50-54's with a staple
length of 12-18 cm. Fleece of the British Milk sheep
ranges in weight from 4 kg in ewes and over 6.5 kg in
rams. Their wool is of pretty good quality with a spinning

Today the breed is raised mainly as a milk sheep breed,

and average milk yield depends on the standard of

than 400 liters in a lactation.

And their lactation period is around 210 days. Their milk

is of very good quality, containing around 6 percent

Along with milk production, the breed is also pretty good

goat, the mahogany-coloured Murciana of Murcia and
the black Granadina of Granada, These goats are
medium size for goats, around 30 to 50 kg for females
and 50–60 kg for males. They are solid colored, usually
black or mahogany colored. The breed association,
ACRIMUR (Asociación Española de Criadores de la
Cabra Murciano-Granadina, or Spanish Association of
 Breeders of the Murcia-Granada Goat) states that they
refuse to accept any goat that had white hair even in
the smallest amount as M-G. The goats have erect ears
and tails, with a short, coarse coat, though it is longer in
males than in females
