No Sequence of Work 1. Wiring Termination Cable Lighting System - Will make sure all the wiring installations are completed and the wires will be tested for insulation and continuity test before termination - Switched socket outlets installed in rooms will be connected using the ring main principle with a maximum of 10 nos - Each ring main will be connected to its own circuit on the distribution board and will be protected - Wires will be cut according to the proper length and fix the necessary lugs for the proper termination of the ceiling rose as per the approved drawing - Prior to terminations, it will be ensured that all wires are provided with proper identification ferrule/labels - The earth will be connected to the base metal box properly and will fix the ceiling rose by pressing or by screws as per the type of accessories - Prior to the installation of other wiring accessories like sockets, switches, junction boxes and etc, it will be ensured that the preinstallation backboxes are fixed properly aligned with the wall finish - The alignment of wiring accessories will be checked prior to the completion of installation - Joints will not be permitted in any final circuit except at socket outlets, switches, ceiling roses, general accessories, and light fittings - All the switches will be properly covered, and sockets will be properly protected from plaster, paint, mortar, and dirt during construction and decorative/painting works Equipment, tools and machinery to be used : - Screw Driver - LAN tester - Manual Hand Tool - Test pen
