My Achievement

A speedy 10-year-old local boy has set a national record by taking only 7.9
seconds to whip on ten surgical face masks, making him the fastest person on
record to accomplish such a feat in the country. His achievement is just over two
seconds short of the world record set by a man in Italy late last year.
Do you want to know who is that amazing kid?
The kid who did this record is me….. Viswaa Palani Kumar. I’m 11 now. Today I
am excited to share my experience breaking this record. On 9th March last year,
MBOR made a new challenge to break. It was #MyMask on challenge.
The stunt, certified by the Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR), is part of a
campaign aimed at encouraging people to keep their masks on while out in
public to curb the spread of Covid-19.
I trained for this challenge in just 4 weeks. But, I did not expect I will get this
record. Besides bagging the national record title, I also received a year’s supply
of medical-grade face masks.
I was on top of the world after getting this record. I did not stop there. I also
made the exact same record in Kids World Records. It was like killing 2 birds with
a stone and was an unforgettable memory.
This is my advice to you. Age is not a barrier for anyone. We can break it through.
