Time Domain analysis plotting VR and I:

Fig. 7

From Fig. 7,

phase difference between VR and I is 0

Peak value of I ≈ 12A, So, Irms = 12 mA / √2 = 8.485 mA

Peak value of VR ≈ 5.7V, So, VR rms = 5.7 V / √2 = 4 V
Time Domain analysis plotting VL and I:

Fig. 8

From Fig. 8,

phase difference between V l and I is 360°*2.5/10=90°

Time Domain analysis plotting VC and I:

Fig. 9

From Fig. 8, Peak value of VL ≈ 2 V, So, VL rms = 2V / √2 = 1.414 V

From Fig. 9, Peak value of VC ≈ 1.8V, So, VC rms = 1.8V / √2 = 1.27 V

Time Domain analysis plotting Vin and I:

Fig. 10

From Fig. 10, phase difference between VR and I is 0

Data Table:

(a) For series circuit

Vin (Volt) I (mA) VR (Volt) VC (Volt) VL (Volt)

4V 8.485 mA 4V 1.27 V 1.414 V
