ABSTRACT

In past few years automation has reached to new revolution. Designing a system which
easy owner of industry/foundry by sitting in front of a single monitor and monitor its
whole system is very profitable and time saving. The title of project is “Smart Work
from Home Management System Using Android Application”. This system will record
the operation time of the machine and also details of worker who is operation it. All the
system is designed on basis of wed server, web module and microcontroller. This
system is based on audio and web server designing. Smart Data Monitoring System for
Power Loom Using IOT paper published by SNS College of Technology, Coimbatore,
Tamil Nadu, India. This gave the basic concept of this project. According to this paper
Textile industry has occupied the second position next to agriculture. Due to the increase
in population growth, textile industry has been increasing a lot in today’s world. Power
loom is one of the key developments in the industrialization of weaving. It provides
employment to over 35 million in the country. The use of man power in theindustry can
be reduced with the help of automation. The main purpose of this project is to build a
better control monitor system on employee management. In this project with the help of
this system owner of company can monitor work from any place. Main thing is that
reduce energy and Power consumption. It is a time saving machine

INTRODUCTION

Diamond Polymers is engaged in manufacturing of wide range of PTFE products

in fluoropolymers industries , The company manufacture standard PTFE products
in its standard sizes viz.- PTFE Rods, PTFE Bushes, PTFE Sheets, Gaskets,
Washers, Bellows, piston ring, O/U/V - Rings, ready cut gasket, envelops,
chevron packing, balls, etc.

We are specialized in manufacturing non-standard sizes as per customer

specification and demand. We also manufacture products in different PTFE
Grades like - Glass filled / bronze filled / carbon filled / peek PTFE / graphited
filled / pigmented PTFE / Mos2 filled PTFE and many more.

Company specialized in non-standard PTFE product range and very precious

machine components as per customer specification and drg. Company directors
who are actively involved in day to day operation, have vast experience in
fluoropolymers especially in "PTFE" products for more than 20 years. Having
experience team working with us on automatic and semi-automatic machines
with skilled labor is an added advantage for our company.

Diamond Polymers, situated in karve industrial area, vita Dist- Sangli which is
approved by govt of Maharashtra, well connected with all modern facility, with
good infrastructure, well connected with Road / Railway / Nearest Sea and Airport.
This industrial area is with 24 hours electricity, excellent communication facility -
like Telephone / Mobile / Fax / Wi-fi / Internet. Company also manufacture other
fluoropolymers components like pp/nylon/delrin etc. Company having a capacity to
produce up to 15 ton per month. our market spreads all over India and export mainly
to gulf countries through our Dubai office.

1.3 CHALLENGES

1. High Cost: PTFE is a relatively expensive material compared to other plastics,

which can limit its use in cost-sensitive applications.

2. Limited Availability of Customized PTFE Products: Customized PTFE products

with specific properties and dimensions may not be readily available from
suppliers. This can result in longer lead times and higher costs to manufacture
these products in-house.

3. Limited Processing Options: While PTFE can be processed into various forms, such
as sheets, tubes, and molded parts, the processing options are limited compared to
other materials. This can limit the design flexibility of PTFE products.

4. Poor Bonding Properties: PTFE has poor bonding properties, which can make it
difficult to join PTFE products to other materials, such as metals or plastics.
2 LITERATURE SURVEY

In a technical angle, products are highly sensitive products. This is the reason why
technology behind its production plays a major role in quality and quantity of the
products. We keep all the modern production facilities with us. These technologies
mainly includes:

Compression Molding facility with 1000 Ton Hydraulic Press that can manufacture
biggest size of sheets in the country up to 1200 MM and molding Dia. Up to 1500
MM.

» Heat Treatment furnaces of various capacities

» For Machining purpose ultra-modern lathes

» Drilling Machines

» Milling Machines

» Shaping Machines

» Quality Assurance Laboratory with all the testing facilities

2.2 PROPOSED WORK

9 LIMITATIONS

1. High Cost: PTFE is a relatively expensive material compared to

other plastics, which can limit its use in cost-sensitive applications.

2. Limited Availability of Customized PTFE Products: Customized

PTFE products with specific properties and dimensions may not be
readily available from suppliers. This can result in longer lead times
and higher costs to manufacture these products in-house.

3. Limited Processing Options: While PTFE can be processed into various

forms, such as sheets, tubes, and molded parts, the processing options
are limited compared to other materials. This can limit the design
flexibility of PTFE products.

4. Poor Bonding Properties: PTFE has poor bonding properties, which can
make it difficult to join PTFE products to other materials, such as metals
or plastics.

5. Limited Color Options: PTFE is typically available in a limited range

of colors, which can limit its use in applications where color is an
important consideration.
10 FUTURE PERSPECTIVE

1. Product Availability: A comprehensive product catalog that lists

various PTFE products available for purchase, such as sheets, tubes,
rods, and molded parts. The catalog should include detailed product
descriptions, specifications, and pricing.

2. Customization Options: The ability for customers to customize the

PTFE products to their specific requirements, such as selecting the
required dimensions, thickness, and properties.

3. Reviews and Ratings: The website should feature customer reviews

and ratings of the PTFE products to provide social proof and help
potential customers make informed decisions.
11 CONCLUSION

The conclusion of the project suggests that PTFE is a highly versatile material that can
be processed into various forms, including sheets, tubes, and molded parts. The project
successfully demonstrated the ability to customize the properties of PTFE products to
meet specific requirements, such as high temperature resistance, low friction, and
chemical resistance.

The project also highlighted the importance of selecting the appropriate processing
techniques, such as compression molding, ram extrusion, or skiving, depending on the
product's required properties and dimensions. It is essential to control processing
parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and cooling rate, to achieve consistent
product quality and dimensional stability.

The project demonstrated that proper testing and quality control are critical to
ensuring that the PTFE products meet the required standards and specifications. This
includes conducting tests, such as tensile strength, elongation, and thermal stability, to
ensure that the products perform as expected.

Overall, the project successfully demonstrated the potential of PTFE as a versatile

material for various applications, such as in chemical processing, aerospace, and
medical devices. The findings suggest that further research and development in PTFE
product design and processing can lead to the discovery of new properties and
applications for this material.
