Dear: Sir/Madam
I am writing this letter as a show of interest in working and taking part in the
Masifunde programme. I would love to work for such an organisation, as it will be of
great help in improving my skill of negotiation as well as give me much needed work
experience. I am a young lady that is mature and well accomplished. I am graduate
student from the University of Johannesburg with an average of 74%, . I have
completed an honours degree in Public Management and Governance at the
University of Johannesburg as well as an undergraduate degree in Politics and
International Relations. I believe that I am resilient and committed in all that I do thus
I managed to wait out all the years at school and never gave up. I am currently
unemployed, but actively looking for work opportunities.
My work experience, and leadership experience of working as a secretary and
playing a leadership role have empowered me with in-depth knowledge, proficient
skills, team work ethics and ability to communicate with different kinds of people and
help them address the different problems that they may be having. My call center
experience of working as a lead generator for Pioneer Debt Solutions has provided
me with the skill of learning a few things on the questions to ask a person in debt,
questions that help in checking whether the person qualifies to be assisted by
Pioneer. I am confident that my learned skills through telephonic interaction and my
theoretical skills on how a leader is supposed to carry themselves will enable me to
bring impressive contributions to your organisation. Such as those of being able to
interact and communicate well, to provide great customer service and help me in
knowing how to communicate within the organization when there are external
engagement activities.
I found interest in this post as it will help me take the first step in gaining relevant
experience within a non profit organization. Which is something I would like to add to
my cv, as I believe in being a well rounded individual. Thus being a part of this
organization will enable me to gain more skills and experience to build my career
and it will allow me to finish paying off my student debt. I also have some added
experience within the telecommunications industry working as a customer service
agent for international customers. This experience has helped in polishing my
communication and listening skills.
