3 Beta Known Issues List

HDF5 Attach
• Dynamic scenario is not imported if the user imports h5 directly with results
• Some quantity items are missing in XY chart view after setting the target
• Post: Could not show charts for quantities in XY chart view on some .H5 files
• Apex fails to enter post-process after a few steps (attach h5 file, then save DB and close
model, and last re-open DB)
• Apex crashes when the user first attaches the h5 file, then modifies/renames/deletes h5
file, and finally executes the detach command
• Quantity 'Torsional Strain' is not read from .h5 file for SOL400
• No Modal Extraction and Dynamic step after importing some BDF and H5 files.
• The fringe is inconsistent when the user switches to a different mode and back to the
original mode
• The results for MPC Force/Moment are lost when using the integrated solver
• The Stress and Strain may be different with Patran for X/Y/Z component (Composite model)
• The “Transverse Shear Stress XZ“ may be shown as “Transverse Shear Stress YZ“，
• Applied Load Force fringe plot shows zero when running simulation with integrated solver
• The Composite Failure results may be incorrect
• After a successful run and H5 attachment, the second successful simulation may turn the
Post button to grey

Property View
• The "User Attributes" and "Statistic" are missing in the contextual menu when clicking the
RMB 2D element property in property view
• Multiselect/Edit of properties is not possible in property view
• A black screen is displayed when unchecking and checking the PSHELL type in property
view
• A face is not hidden when unchecking "2d element property1" in property view after
assigning 2d element property1 to a face
• The model displays incorrectly when show only the thickness field in property view
• Panel and offset field with same target cannot be display at the same time
• The columns "Module Name" and "Module ID" aren't added in property view when in
Module mission
• The "Restore Defaults" item should be added in the attribute filter
• The visibility works incorrectly when unchecking Field-Offset in property view
• Changes on the property are not dynamically reflected in the Property View
• Property View Show Only behavior is incorrect
Shrink Wrap Meshing
• The skinny surface with multi-edges boundary side is not mapp-meshed with mixed +
mapp+ mapp mesh Dominance level=2
• The shrink wrap mesh results at a hole position are quite different between Apex and Actran

Additional Issues
• Combined Installer needs more work for Modify
• Apex crashes when checking "show old part" in part replacement after replacing a part in
Chinese version
• Documentation: Can't search "Property view" document by search databox
• Apex will hang after performing a Part Replace and then trying to select show all
