My Personal Philosophy

My personal philosophy for education is to make sure that students never feel left out

or unsafe. That each student has the confidence to ask questions and that students are

comfortable in the classroom. I want to make sure that by the end of the year each student

walks out of my classroom with a life lesson. Being a teacher is one of the hardest jobs to work

in because you must be able to learn with the students. Each day without me knowing I will be

learning how to improve my classroom to be a better one. I will be able to know what works in

the classroom and with the students and what does not and try to change it for the future.

As a teacher my desire is to make my classroom a safe place for learning and achieving

goals. In my classroom I want to give each student a goal to reach by the end of the year, a goal

that will be set by the student. To ensure that the student stays motivated to reach it and know

that when they do, it means they can reach any goal in the future. My goal as a teacher will be

to make sure that each student feels important, and they know that whatever they pursue they

can achieve it. I will encourage each student to do their best in everything they do because for

their whole academic years their name will be attached to everything they do.

As the school year begins, I will ensure to have a positive relationship with my student's

parents. I will certify to parents that if they have questions during the year, they are free to

contact me. I will ensure that parents and students feel comfortable with me to ask questions

about their concerns. At open house I will make sure to leave a good impression to show each

parent that their child is well cared for. Therefore, they feel better when leaving their child with

me and know that all I want is to make sure that their child gets the best education I can give.

In my philosophy, I want to make sure I make an impact on each of my students. That

each student can embrace their only personality in my classroom without getting judged. I will

ensure that each student knows that they can achieve anything they put in their mind to. That

everything is possible and to never let someone tell them they cannot. I will ensure that each

student walks out of my classroom with something to remember. I want my classroom to be

student-centered but also some teacher centered because I want my students to be able to

learn something they want but also, I want to be able to teach them what they need.

In conclusion, I want to make sure every child feels welcome in my classroom. That all

kids have the chance to learn in the best way possible, that no matter if they cannot speak the

language teachers make sure to still try to teach them. Every child has a unique way of learning

and we as teachers should try to accommodate to their needs. As a teacher, I will put in my all

for each student to learn in their best way.
