INTRODUCTION
This course will prepare students with a basic understanding of the nature of management processes in business organisations. It relates to the
principles and theories of management, practices of Planning, Organising, Leading, and Controlling (POLC), organisational design and
communication within business entities

CLO1 : Explain and apply the concepts, practice and role of management processes and tools

Students are required to abide by the university’s Academic Regulation pertaining to all matters during their course of study. Students are advised
to take note that class attendance is very important.
Conventional Mode
Students who do not meet the attendance requirement will be:
barred from sitting for the final examination.
awarded a “F” grade to the final assessment (for courses without final examination)
Online Mode
The course will be automatically dropped if students do not record any progress after Week 4. If more than THREE (3) courses are involved, the
students will be auto-deferred.
