person was my beloved mother. My mother’s name is Dayang Norelah Binti Abang Mansor.
She turned 56 this year and her birth date is on October 6, 1966. Her hometown is in Lundu
which is Stunggang Village. Her birthplace is in Lundu Hospital. She was the eldest of four
siblings who had 3 girls and 1 boy and she is a sister who is very caring to all her younger
siblings. She got married at the age of 25 and now has 6 children. So I was her last child. She
is a housewife whose job is cooking, cleaning, and washing clothes. She did everything in a
day.
hardworking, patient, independent, and caring person. She was generous for example, she
always gives alms and helps people in need. A patient woman. for example, she is always
patient when she has a problem and decides to remain silent. She was kind for example, she is
always kind to everyone, especially to her close ones, siblings and family. She was a caring
person, for example, She is a mother who takes good care of her children and wants to see each
of her children happy and successful in the future. Sometimes she gets upset a bit too easily,
but she is just as quick to forgive and forget. She has all those qualities but sometimes not
showing them in front of people. She does have manners and is nice but she won’t open up
In Addition, precious memories with my mother are during the fasting month when we
both prepared customers’ biscuits and cake orders until late at night. That time I took the
opportunity to spend time with her, although each of us was tired but we were very happy to
make it together. Other than that, on the night before Hari Raya Aidilfitri, we will make ketupat,
lemang, and rendang together, clean the house together, decorate the house together such as
hanging curtains, changing carpets, putting cakes in jars and many more. I will never forget
these memories, even though we do them every year of the fasting month. The other memories
are when I was little I would always be with my mom and she would always take care of me
when I got sick. She also taught me how to speak, read, and write sentences. When I did
something wrong, she explained to me why I can not do that. When I have problems with
friends in school and I did not know whom to talk with, she was the one I could open up to and
Moreover, the biggest conflict or fight I had with my mother was when I was in high
school where I was a person who if I was tired I would not go out of my room and I always
played on the phone so as not to review the lessons. It always happens when I feel very tired.
Then my mother came into the room and always scolded me with an angry facial reaction. With
my feelings very tired, I continued to respond with rudeness without thinking of my mother's
heart at that time. From that day on we did not scold and we were silent with each other. Day
by day I feel so annoyed by the acts I do to my mother and I always cry at night. Every day I
think about how I want to apologize to my mother. Until one day I decided to go to my mother's
room to apologize. After that day, we started to get back together as usual. From that incident,
I don't want it all to happen again and from that incident, I have also learned something where
mothers always forgive their children even though they have been rude to them so don't ever
In conclusion, My mom has been through a lot throughout the years, but she always
kept patient and accept with an open heart. She taught me to never lose hope even in the direst
of moments, and she showed me how to look for happiness in the small things. I am very
thankful to her. I hope that she will be cheerful all day, successful in the world and all her
patience will be rewarded by God. With all the qualities and advantages she has, I will make
her a great inspiration for me and she will be a role model for me throughout my whole life.
Though we might not always get along or do not see everything the same way, she appreciates
my view. My mom will continue to inspire me. Everything she always did was more than just
