Resolution on Ending Hunger

The General Assembly,


Recalling the Charter of the United Nations and its commitment to
promoting and encouraging respect for human rights and
fundamental freedoms for all without distinction as to race, sex,
language, or religion,
Recognizing that hunger is a global challenge that affects millions of
people, particularly in developing countries, and undermines the
achievement of sustainable development goals,
Emphasizing the importance of international cooperation, solidarity,
and concerted efforts to address the root causes of hunger and
malnutrition,
Acknowledging the need for a comprehensive and multi-stakeholder
approach to ending hunger, involving governments, international
organizations, civil society, and the private sector,
Affirming the right to adequate food as a fundamental human right,
as enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other
relevant international instruments,
Reaffirming the commitment to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable
Development and its goal to end hunger, achieve food security,
improve nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture,
Noting the adverse effects of climate change, conflicts, and economic
inequalities on food security and the exacerbation of hunger in
various regions,

1. Urges member states to prioritize and implement policies that


promote sustainable agriculture, increase agricultural productivity,
and ensure access to safe, nutritious, and sufficient food for all,
paying special attention to the needs of vulnerable and marginalized
populations;
a)the construction of greenhouses with an adaptable climate in order
to produce a variety of crops, and the promotion of sustainable
aquaculture and other innovative ways to grow food,
2. Authorizes all the member states to Control the issue of food
waste around the world,

3. Calls for the promotion of innovative and inclusive approaches,


such as digital technologies and data-driven solutions, to enhance
the efficiency and effectiveness of food production, distribution, and
consumption,
4. Requests all member states to supply options and opportunities
where people can help the foundation and help and unite purchasing
aid associations and help countries in danger in this regard;
a) Platform where communities can provide monthly food or financial
aid,
5. Encourages all the member states to give more importance to
sustainable food production and developing technology in this
regard;
a) Thus, job opportunities can be provided,
b) Considering that as the unemployment rate decreases, people's
financial power increases by working, the hunger problem can be
eliminated,
6) Encourages UN to Ensure Universal School Meals;
a) school meal programs can also promote healthy eating, support
local farmers, and free up family income for broader prosperity,
7) Requests the Secretary-General to provide regular updates on the
implementation of this resolution, including challenges faced and
lessons learned, to ensure accountability and continued momentum
in the global effort to end hunger.
