ABSTRACT
This project is based on the information on the online shopping with their purpose and how it
helps to make the life of the service provider and consumer convenient and efficient. The
Online Shopping is a dynamic and innovative web-based platform designed to change the
way consumers shop in the digital age. This project explores online shopping website named
Thulo.com, highlighting its impact on the way we purchase goods and services and also how
the product reaches the consumer.

requirements of the internal evaluation for the degree Bachelor in Business Management.

INTRODUCTION
1.1 INTRODUCTION TO THULO.COM

Thulo.com, an online marketplace and e-commerce platform based in Nepal, has emerged as a
prominent player in the country's digital marketplace landscape. Thulo.com offers a wide array
of categories, including electronics, fashion, home appliances, beauty products, groceries, and
much more. With a user-friendly interface, secure payment options, and reliable delivery
services, Thulo.com has become a trusted destination for customers seeking quality products
and hassle-free online shopping.
Added to that, it has also introduced its mobile app, Thulo Pasal - Online Shopping App,
available for both android and iPhone.
Mission:
To serve maximum number of customers, providing the best customer service possible as per
industry practice, in terms of price, quality, choice of product categories/products, buying
process and delivery.

2. Business Model
The term business model describes how an organization creates, deliver, and captures value in
economic, social and other context. Business Model is important for both new and established
businesses.
Like every business would have their own specific model to run their organization. Thulo.com
also has its own business model. It follows two types of business model. They are given below:
2.1 B2B (BUSINESS TO BUSINESS MODEL )
Business to Business model is a type of e-commerce which exchanges product, services and
information between businesses. Thulo.com is also a business which has several contacts or
links with different businesses through which the order is placed and it gets its product through
other businesses platform which can be large or small businesses.

2.2 B2C (BUSINESS TO CONSUMER MODEL)
Business to consumer model is a type of business model which refers to the selling the product
service directly between business and consumers who are the last user of the product and
services.
Thulo.com customers are able to order and receive the product they want. Therefore, it directly
distributes the product to the customer by fulfilling the all the necessities of the B2C model.

3. PROCESS OF BUYING THE PRODUCT

Thulo.com is an online platform used for buying products and services.

3.1 FOR THE CUSTOMERS

We can directly proceed to the website and follow the procedure below.
PROCEDURE:
1. Browsing the Website - Visit Thulo.com's website using a web browser.
2. Search or Browse Products- Use the search bar or browse through product categories to
find the desired item.
3. Product Selection - Click on the product you want to purchase to view its details.
4. Adding to Cart- If you decide to buy the product, click the "Add to Cart" button.
5. Proceed to Checkout - Click on the "Proceed to Checkout" or similar button to initiate the
checkout process.
6. Login or Register- You may need to log in to your Thulo.com account or create one if you
are a new customer.
7. Shipping Address - Provide your shipping address and contact information.
8. Payment Method- Choose your preferred payment method, which may include online
payment (credit/debit card, mobile wallets) or cash on delivery (if available).
9. Review Order - Review your order summary, including the items, shipping address, and
payment method, to ensure accuracy.
10. Place Order- Confirm your order by clicking the "Place Order" or similar button.
11. Payment - If you chose online payment, you will be redirected to a secure payment gateway
to complete the transaction. Follow the instructions to make the payment.
12. Order Confirmation - After successful payment, you will receive an order confirmation
with details of your purchase.
13. Order Tracking- You can track the status of your order through your Thulo.com account or
using any tracking information provided.
14. Delivery- Thulo.com will process and dispatch your order to the provided address. You
will receive updates on the delivery status.
15. Receive the Product - Once the product is delivered, inspect it to ensure it matches your
order. You may pay in cash if you selected the cash on delivery option.
16. Returns and Customer Support- If you encounter any issues with the product, you can
contact Thulo.com's customer support for assistance or initiate a return request following
their return policy.

4. CONCLUSION

Regarding my experience while shopping through thulo.com was not really up to the mark.
Firstly, I tried to order a foldable table for laptop placement, it showed it was available but
when the order was placed the customer service of thulo.com told us that it was out of stock
and we have to wait for the goods to restock so, they cancelled my order.
1. First order of foldable table for multipurpose use
Furthermore, I placed another order of book named “Rich Dad Poor Dad” which was priced
Rs588. Again, the same issue aroused it was out of stock on the stationery I had ordered but it
was available in a different shop of thulo.com in a different price Rs985. I thought it was a high
price for the book I ordered which was available for 588 Therefore, I cancelled the order again.

2. Rich Dad Poor Dad

At last, for the final order I ordered an electrical kettle for domestic use which was price Rs699
which was delivered the next day at the first hour of work time. The delivery charge cost me
Rs.120 which was comparatively high than other websites.
Although it was a fine experience, I think thulo.com has a lot of things to work on such as
updating the website about the products which are available so that the problem like this does
not arises again. Even though the delivery was pretty fast and the way they contact their
customer it there is any complications regarding order placement. The only way we can contact

with the customer service is either by the messenger or mail. My personal experience with
thulo.com is pretty dissatisfying.
It is the detail regarding my order which I received through Thulo.com. I ordered a electric kettle jug
of 2 liter which was priced Rs.699 for a piece and delivery charge costs Rs 120.
