Difficulty in Studying During the Pandemic

Since the outbreak of the pandemic COVID-19, many studies have been
conducted to examine how education has responded to the challenges of a
completely new situation that has led to the spread of distance education as the
only form of instruction. In this study, data were collected and analyzed to
understand the difficulties of distance education that higher education students
faced during the pandemic.

As we said before, online learning constitutes an emergency response to

the crisis our world has been going through for the last couple of years. This
inevitable shift, however, was not easy for all students. First and foremost, this
way of learning is by default less stimulating than the conventional one. Thus, a
number of students had a hard time maintaining their focus, which further led to
them losing interest or being left behind.

And also, distance learning might be suitable for theoretical subjects and
lectures but cannot replace the practical skills acquired through hands-on
experience (such as working in laboratories, conducting research, clinical
practice etc). This particular issue was brought up mainly by students in their
final years of studies, who not only had to make up for this lack of experience in
a very short time but were also deprived of opportunities.
