    1. To determine the tensile strength of a given specimen using


    Universal Testing Machine (UTM)
    2. To perform the Metal analysis with the help of Optical
    Emission Spectroscopy (OES).
    Casting Lab Experiments.
    1. Practice for preparation of molding sand mixtures.
    2. To prepare a sand mold using a single-piece pattern.
    3. To prepare a sand mold using a split piece pattern.
    4. To fabricate a part using Aluminum casting in the foundry with the
    help of Sand casting.
    5. To fabricate a part using Aluminum casting in the foundry with the
    help of Permanent Mold casting.
    Welding Lab Experiments.

    1. Investigate the effects of varying voltage and current on spot


    welded specimen.
    2. Investigate the effects of varying voltage and current on ARC
    welded specimen.
    3. Investigate the effects of varying voltage and current on MIG
    welded specimen.
    4. Investigate the effects of varying voltage and current on TIG
    welded specimen.
    5. Investigate the effects of varying gas pressure on gas
    welded specimens.
