The line chart gives the information about the average yearly spending on

mobile phone and landline phone services over nine-year period between 2001
and 2010.
Overall, what stands out from the graph is that there was an upward trend in
annual payment on cell phone services whereas the reverse was true to
residential phone services. Another interesting point is that the expenses of
mobile phone service surpassed that of landline phone services phone in 2006.
In 2001, the average per year payment on mobile phones started at about 200$
while landline phone users were nearly 700$. Over the next 5 years, the figure
showed a significant increase to approximatly 550$ in using cell phones,
however, the expenditures on residential phone services went down by around
150$. In 2006, the expenses of mobile phone service overtook that of landline
phone services phone at nearly 550$.
In 2009, the income that cell phone users paid shoot up and reached at
approximately 800$. On the other hand, the figure for residential phone services
had fell slightly from 500$ to under 400$.
