Aconitum napellus
Napellus is used to prevent from cold,
general weakness and 'Yang' deficiency
and as an antidote for several poisons.

It is used in folklore medicine for the


management of facial paralysis, joint
pain, inflammation, gout, pyrexia and
pericardiatis for sciatica and rheumatism.
Arnica
Arnica is used topically for a wide range
of conditions, including bruises, sprains,
muscle aches, wound healing,
superficial phlebitis, joint pain,
inflammation from insect bites, and
swelling from broken bones.

More recent studies suggest it may also


be helpful in the treatment of burns.
Belladonna

Belladonna has been used in alternative


medicine as an aid in treating arthritis pain,
colds or hay fever, bronchospasms caused by
asthma or whooping cough, hemorrhoids,
nerve problems, Parkinson's disease, colic,
irritable bowel syndrome, and motion
sickness.
Bryonia
Bryonia, also called bryony, is a
plant-based homeopathic remedy that's
been used to relieve constipation, upset
stomach, and fluid retention. It's also been
used to treat chronic conditions such as
arthritis, cancer, and liver disease.
Ledum palustre
Ledum Palustre Ointment is a very good
remedy for the wounds caused by bites,
stings, thorn or nail penetration. Joint
inflammation and swelling is controlled by it
very well and it also treats wounds with
swelling and coldness.

It deals with the pain in eyeball that is relieved


by cold compresses.
Pulsatilla

Pulsatilla is one of the most commonly


used homoeopathy medicines that are
effective in treating a multitude of health
issues including teething issues, back
pain, labour pain, sciatica, urgent urge to
urinate, food poisoning, chilblains and
mumps.
Rhus toxicodendron

Rhus toxicodendron (Rhus tox) is another


name for the plant Toxicodendron
pubescens. Rhus tox has been extensively
used as a traditional homeopathic remedy
for inflammatory conditions, including skin
eruption, back pain and stiffness, irritability
and restlessness, and rheumatoid arthritis.
Apis mellifica

Apis mellifica is used for minor burns with an


excessive amount of erythema, swelling, and pain.
Caulophyllum thalictroides

Caulophyllum thalictroides (blue cohosh),


a native of the eastern and central
woodlands of the United States, has been
used traditionally and historically as an
anticonvulsant, antirheumatic, febrifuge,
emetic, sedative, and most notably, a
gynecologic aid.
Dulcamara

Historically, the plant Dulcamara was used in


herbal medicine to treat skin diseases, being a
popular remedy for obstinate skin eruptions,
scrofula and ulcers. Traditionally it has been used
in chronic bronchial catarrh, asthma and
whooping cough.

It was much employed in the past for the


treatment of chronic rheumatism and for jaundice.
Cimicifuga racemosa

Therapeutic uses include pain associated


with menstruation, relief of premenstrual
symptoms, and relief of symptoms
associated with menopause and muscle
and joint pain associated with the
rheumatoid condition.

It is included in the category of herbal


remedies or dietary supplements.
Peperomia pellucida
This is a very popular traditional
medication for gout as this herbal
plant contains analgesic properties.
