A Legal Notice for Non-Payment of Salary

Sir,

Under instruction and behalf of my client Mr. Kapil Verma, who is Resident of Ward No. 8,
Aundh Gaon, Aundh, Pune- 411007

I do hereby serve you with the Legal Notice: -

1. That the Noticee, appointed my client on 5th January 2018 via mail by providing an
offer letter dated 15th January 2018 as Content Analyst and the salary of my client was
fixed at Rs. 37000/- per month. And my client joined the office on 15th February, 2018.
2. That my client is a very hardworking employee and did his duty diligently, and with
utmost punctuality and sincerity, he had built a good reputation in your esteemed
organization. My client was fully devoted to his duty. The Noticee, issued an offer letter
(hard copy) in the name of my client and also got printed the visiting cards in my client
name.
3. That my client Mr. Verma resides in a rented apartment situated at Ward No. 8, Aundh
Gaon, Aundh, Pune- 411007 have to pay monthly Rs. 8000/- and spending an amount
of Rs. 7000/- monthly on his food.
4. That my client Mr. Verma also had to pay an amount of Rs. 10,000/- against his
educational loan from Lena Bank.
5. That my client Mr. Verma saved and send the remaining amount RS. 12,000/- to ailing
his parents.
6. That in the Annexure of the company it was stated that the salary will be credited to the
works within 20th of the month.
7. That the Noticee had not paid the salary of my client on the month of June, 2018.
8. That my client Mr. Verma even after not receiving the salary continued to work for the
company for two more months having faith on the Directors.
9. That my client Mr. Verma Continued to pay the rent of the apartment, the cost of food
and also the amount against his educational loan despite not having any source of
income.
10. That even after several e-mails and letters there are no response from the Noticee.
11. That the Noticee, are unnecessarily harassing my client by not paying salary, and the
same is a punishable office.
12. That my client is totally disturbed by the behaviour not only physically but also
mentally.

I, therefore, call upon you through this Notice, to make the payment of the Rs. 1,11,000/- to
my client along with interest up to date, under intimation to me, within the period of 15 days,
failing which my client has given clear instructions to me to file criminal as well as civil suit
and Suit for Recovery in the competent court of law and in that event, you will be fully
responsible for all costs, risks, responsibilities, expenses and consequences thereof.

A copy of this Notice is kept in my office for record and further necessary action and you are
also advised to keep the copy safe as you would be asked to produce in the court.
