INTRODUCTION

(a) What are principals’ perceptions of the importance of technology?
(b) Do principals’ perceptions of technology differ by years of experience and
gender?

Purpose of the research:


The study's goal was to investigate principals' viewpoints and 191 different
approaches to technology, including a cognitive interview question with an
open-ended format. Additionally, this study emphasizes key attributes like
gender and years of expertise. It has looked at how experience and gender
affect principals' computer use.

METHODOLOGY

What is the methodology for the research or approach used to understand the
issue? Provide information regarding the following:

Participants:
310 principals from a sizable metropolis in the American southwest. There
was a wide variation in the years of experience among the participants: 104
had zero to three years, 82 had four to seven years, 55 had eight to eleven
years, 32 had twelve to fifteen years, and 31 had more than fifteen years.

Procedures:
Graduate students in the Educational Leadership program at a significant
urban doctoral-granting university in the central United States conducted the
questionnaire. Students were instructed on how to administer the instrument
and had to interview a predetermined number of existing public school
principals as part of the principle certification course requirements. The survey
instrument, which comprised both qualitative and quantitative questions, was
created especially for this use.

Data Analysis:
