Omega is Qatar Kahramaa A Grade Company which provides high quality standard electrical
maintenance for low-voltage and high-voltage equipment. We also have centralized teams in place

faults before they lead to failure. Furthermore, a large number of our electrical staff have been
trained and certified for KAHRAMAA STANDARDS.

continuous power supply for your facility. We undertake regular checks on fuel consumption and

Service Delivery
Planned Maintenance dramatically reduces the need for reactive maintenance as the availability and
the process enhances functionality of equipment and systems. However, there will always be a need
for a reactive service when a piece of equipment or a system fails and we put in place a robust
reactive maintenance program to ensure swift rectification of such failures. Usually, dedicated multi-
tasking teams carry out reactive maintenance within the facilities; done in a way that no scheduled
planned maintenance is affected.

A dedicated supervisory staff usually manages reactive maintenance staff and client representatives
sign off their activities on satisfactory completion. All hours worked as well as all materials used in
the repair are recorded in out Computer Aided Facilities Management Software. Recording these
details contributes to the history record of the equipment and enables the maintenance regime to
be focused correctly to meet the needs of the plant or system as well as the user. Maintenance tasks

Our Procurement Process is an integral part of our Integrated Management System and follows
recognized international best practice. All Service Partners are pre-qualified before addition to
OMEGA ENGINEERING Approved Supplier List. Typically, 3 competitive quotations are obtained and
evaluated against technical criteria prior to consideration against price.

Account Management

OMEGA ENGINEERING employs a proven account management model to ensure that our clients gain
from an optimum operations structure and from the experience of our senior management. Account
teams reflect a strong mix of operational excellence, strategic insights and central support
infrastructure available to clients. The Account Management structure for every Contract is designed
at the Proposal stage. As appropriate, key members of most Contract teams may include:

Facilities Manager

We assign a full-time (dedicated) or Supervising Facilities Manager, as appropriate, to act as the


strategic resource on site operations. The Facilities Manager assumes overall responsibility for
ensuring smooth operations at the site and for ensuring that OMEGA ENGINEERING best practices
reflect at the operations. The Facilities Manager also acts as client point of contact for strategic
initiatives and to ensure regular and effective reporting.
OMEGA FACILITY MANAGEMENT
Integrated Services Coordinators

Integrated Services Coordinators assume overall responsibility for delivery of all the services. An
Integrated Services Coordinator is a Qualified Engineering Professional with experience in the
maintenance of buildings and their services. The Integrated Services Coordinators also have the
responsibility of enhancing services of specialist service partners and directly monitor all day-to-day
activities. The Integrated Services Coordinators have overall responsibility of ensuring that all
operational delivery aspects of the contracts are delivered in an effective, efficient and professional
manner to the client’s complete satisfaction and typically, accountabilities include:

Managing, administering and coordinating operations to optimize efficiency


Acting as the representative of the contract in all dealings with the customer
Ensuring that all contracts and their relevant deliverables are on time and to budget
Ensuring that all sub-contracted staff used on operational delivery are approved and
competent for their specific tasks
Ensuring accurate production and control of planned maintenance
Production of estimates / proposals as required
Adherence to all current company procedures and the Integrated Management System
Monitoring and reporting on overall progress of work programs against plans and forecasts
Production of the Periodic Progress Reports as required by senior management at Omega
Operations
Producing reports on the operational progress for clients
Guidance and mentoring of all direct reports.

Team Leader

The Team Leader supports the Facilities Manager in the service delivery and is typically a qualified
person with experience in the maintenance field. The Team Leader assumes charge of the multi
skilled / tasked teams designated for a shift. The Team Leader also assigns the daily duties for the
multi skilled / tasked team and ensures that they are carried out successfully.

Multi-skilled Team

The multi skilled team carries out necessary Maintenance activities and comprises building
maintenance technicians covering electrical, mechanical and plumbing works.

Quality Assurance Plan

OMEGA ENGINEERING Quality Assurance is achieved through the adoption of our Service Delivery
Plan, which is designed to ensure the monitoring, measurement, review and continuous
improvement of our services.

Client Relationship, Customer Satisfaction Surveys

To achieve additional feedback on our services, OMEGA ENGINEERING has developed both a Client
Relationship Survey and a Customer Satisfaction Survey. These enable us to measure the quality of
our services beyond the SLA/KPI specific data recorded in our Balanced Scorecard.

These surveys provide:

Continuous Improvement
Feedback from which to identify common areas of customer concern and develop Action
Plans to demonstrate improvements in our service

OMEGA ENGINEERING develops both Client Relationship and Service-related Customer Surveys in
consultation with clients to help us to assess and continuously improve customer satisfaction. We
agree the content, method of delivery and frequency for these surveys with clients.

Compliance
As a part of the establishment of our service delivery system, OMEGAENGINEERING also implements
a Compliance Review process. This process monitors our compliance with both statutory
requirements and our own ISO 9000 and ISO 14001 standards. This comprehensive review grades
our Site Teams according to the stage of development of the Contract. Any remedial action emerging
from the review is added to an Action Plan that is reported to clients and followed up as a part of
our Monthly Management Report until the action is cleared.

Implementation
During the Implementation stage, additional project control is provided by a Project Control
Group which reviews progress with the Implementation Team and is available for review
meetings with the client as necessary throughout the Implementation process. The Project
Control Group typically comprises the Operations Head and General Manager of FM Operations;
and the HR Head and Finance Director of the group.
On arriving in Qatar, our new employees receive an induction, EHS training and uniform
prior to being deployed on the project. Whilst some of these candidates join OMEGA
ENGINEERING on a contract, others are used to backfill vacancies created as a result of
transferring existing OMEGA ENGINEERING staff to a new contract. In order to provide a cost
effective service, multi skilled teams covering mechanical, electrical, air conditioning and civil
engineering disciplines are deployed. Training OMEGA ENGINEERING has a well-established

2014 to 2017, OMEGA Engineering WLL was awarded the


Integrated Facilities Management contract to provide Landscape
& Irrigation services to the national Theatre, West Bay. OMEGA
provides Landscape services to this facility, ensuring that all critical
systems are maintained at or above standards
