Information overload
Well-to-do people

Excellent, that's good. How is everything? How is everything being?

How is life going? How has life been the last couple of weeks?

Was it a good a good birthday overall then.

By the time Sunday came around, I was just dead. So just dead. Yeah.
Sorry about that, but yeah, well.

Hold on.

When did that come up just out of interest? What was the? What was the
reason for that that coming up because

I think whole fruit can be, can be tasty.

Seafood is slightly more general. You know, fish, I mean, they're both of
course, referring to the similar thing. But seafood would be more general,
cause seafood would include things like.

Like maybe like shrimp and then lobster and these sort of things. Whereas
fish is more maybe. I mean, I don't know, some people might, some people
might call those.

I eat pretty much everything that comes from the sea.

I Developed an allergy I think for shrimp which is a bit of a shame. I don't
sometimes these allergies they just come. They just come from nowhere.
in the communitytalking about, just like in society in general\
in a community you're talking about like the specific community

fair enough

To be spoiled means to be sort of To be given. a lot of good things, like if a

child is spoiled, it means they're their presence. They get big, their parents
give them presents and they get a lot of stuff.

gloomily : gloomy : dark, depressing and something is gloomy and it just kind
of looks a bit like sad.

Petrified : very scared

Petra: the Latin word, which means stone

The origin of the word petrified is to be to be turned to stone, because if you're

if, if you're very scared, maybe you freeze. So you're turned to stone.

deterring: to waste time like if you did. If you're dithering, you're kind of like,
you're just kind of wanna know you're not really, you're not being, I don't know,
you're kind of just. Yeah. You're kind of just wasting time by maybe by being
silly or by not doing anything very good that sort of thing do the ring.

paradoxically
paradox : logically contradicts itself. It doesn't seem like it makes sense or it
seems like logically it doesn't make sense. It's sort of like a contradiction. It's
like it's like a situation and where both things are both things are true, but they
shouldn't be, if that makes sense.

To no avail. Without accomplishing anything, it's it's. If you do it to no avail, it

means you don't accomplish anything.

plight : a dangerous, difficult or an unlucky situation applied.

Lucrative. profitable or. Something which gives give which kind of gives you
a reward. It gives something which gives you a reward is lucrative.

what sort of offers do they have? What sort of what sort of things.

these kind of Black Friday events, are they not, are they not usually in store
like do you not do you not usually have to go in store to to get these things or I
think cause we actually have a separate event for online which is called I think
it's called.

Cyber Monday

Yeah, maybe, maybe all the stuff that they don't sell on Black Friday, they sell
online on the Monday, maybe.

a smart TV

Are there too many options nowadays? Do you think there are too many
different options?
You can increase the storage with the with the card.

I don't think any Apple Phone has a slot for extra storage. If you want extra
storage you have to pay like $500 extra but on on my phone.

I think I got a bit bored with it.

U.S. dollars maybe like 80 or $90.00 a month just to pay for the privilege of
getting to use that phone. Yeah. And you know, and then you you probably
want to buy insurance as well. Yeah. Insurance is also expensive.

everything is the same. Yeah, I'm sure. I'm sure somebody collects them
somewhere. I'm sure somebody's gotta got a big collection of them. Hmm.

I don't know. It's it's maybe the the the folding phone is maybe what we call.
I'll put this word in as well. Like a gimmick. I think we maybe looked at that
word before. We gimmick. Yes. So a gimmick is maybe like a sort of like a like
a feature.

but we usually associate gimmicks with something that doesn't last. So like if if
if it's a gimmick, it means it's like people like it at the moment, but it's just a
gimmick. It won't last forever.

And I was having a look at the folding phone and I think the thing, the thing
that surprised me I think is that it's actually very, it's actually very light like it's
not very heavy at all. It's very light. Yeah. And I was kind of, I don't know, I
think I think I was surprised.
You don't really notice it as much as you think. So like you, you do notice
it. It's all there is a there is a fold. It's like oh, there's the fold. But you don't
really.

Like I think if you're watching a video, if you're watching a video, you can't
really see it. Actually it kind of it kind of it kind of disappears if you're watching
a video, if you're like, you know if you're scrolling or you're touching it, then
yeah, you feel it.

I don't think it matters as much as I thought it would.

And of course, the good thing is that if you fold it, uh, you know, you're kind of
protected, protecting your screen when you're not using it, right? So I don't
know. There's two different ones. There's like, the, there's the normal phone
size, which then folds into a small little thing, like a little square.

the normal phone size that folds out into a big square. Yeah, like, yeah,
basically that one is so bad. OK. And it looks it looks weird.

I mean I used to have a tablet. I don't have one now, but I don't really use
them very often,
But I think the the phone would be quite good for somebody who doesn't want
a tablet. it gives you like a sort of sort of tablet, it's it's not like a big tablet, but
it kind of gives you a small tablet.

I think that would be my, my opinion of it, but I don't know, maybe when the
price goes down a little bit, it's about it's about €2000 at the moment 17:14

You could get a a refurbished one. You could get one. You could get one that
has been used by somebody else but is in, you know, perfect condition or
something like that. OK, that's that. Those are those are cheaper. Those are
maybe like €500 more cheap so.

17:45 Crystal: If I was trying to find something on Netflix, I would just be

looking and looking for like 20minutes of just looking through things and
being sure which thing I want to and then you don't like it.

Well, there's not. Of course there's not, but then normally I just end up
watching something that that I've already seen. I know, I know that I like it.
Normally I just say, yeah, I'll just watch that again, you know? Yeah.

It shouldn't be annoying, right? It should. It shouldn't be an annoying

experience. It should be a good experience.
