- Perform ultrasound scan for fetal presentation, placenta location, liquor
volume
- Handle postpartum hemorrhage case correctly and sensibly

- To enhance clinical knowledge by studying textbooks, RCOG guidelines,
and department protocols
- To stay up-to-date with the latest research in the field by regularly
reading international journal articles and senior colleagues’ publications
- To prepare and present cases in grand rounds and learn from seniors’
feedback
- To prepare and present in perinatal meetings, and review the
management and neonatal outcomes, to self-reflect and absorb feedback
to improve clinical judgments.

- Schedule regular time to study RCOG guidelines and department
protocols closely
- Observe from seniors and learn from past medical records on how to
handle a variety of antenatal cases (inpatient and outpatient)
- Practice suturing skills well and perform lower segment caesarean
section under supervision
- Learn to perform obstetrics ultrasound scans on basic parameters by
observing seniors
